Out of curiosity--what does everyone here consider their best talent or ability? No need to be modest--everyone can get a little chance to shine.

I consider mine my orating ability, the ability to express myself in just the right way.
 
Yay! Clarinet playing is my talent, i can play anything put in front of my face. I have bunches but this is my #1 talent.
 
I am most skilled in writing (nonfiction) and art.
 
I make computers and other electronics work simply by being present. [No, I will not do tech support for you.]

But the talent I value most is intuitive understanding.
 
I understand things that would confuse most people, or at least things that most people would have to read slowly but carefully(such as those user agreements that show up when you install something but nobody reads anyway, or that list of rules they give you when you get your temps). I also read very very very fast and type very very very VERY fast.

If you're looking for a more "traditional" talent...well, I'm good with computer stuff in general.

I also have these abilities. I became rather annoyed in school when 1) I was the first one done reading in my HONORS English class and I had to wait 10+ minutes for others to finish and 2) people would stare at me when I was typing and bang on their keyboards to try to make the fast clicking noise I do.
 
I was not blessed with the ability to draw. Unless you want an expert on stick figures!

I like to draw, but I'm by no means talented.

I'm not very fast at typing or reading, since using computers and English is something that I've started doing about 5 years ago...

PS. Kasumi is correct; everyone has something that they're good at.

I suppose my talent is drawing as well, if not anything else. I don't think that I'm really good at it, but that's just my lack of confidence. ^_^;;;
 
My talent? How about being able to trace my steps back to their point of origin, no matter how off track I get? I've gotten lost in a neighborhood, pulled onto a street I was unfamiliar with, and found my way back to where I started in about 5 minutes. I don't even have to be the one who got there...as long as I saw the path. It becomes ingrained in my brain, and I never forget. It's like I can make a map in my brain...it's creepy. And I can mark locations after being there only once...no matter how long ago it was.

I can also do mind-numbingly boring tasks and find them fun. Stuff that most people would kill to not have to do...I LOVE to do.

I've won multiple awards for writing...so I've obviously got talent there.
 
I'd say music's my best talent. I play the piano to diploma standard, and violin to grade 8 (though I hated it, heh). I can arrange music really easily, and sight-read, too... and if I know a song reasonably well I can make up an accompaniment for it off the cuff - that's always fun. ^_^ And I have perfect pitch. Yayz. [/bragging]

I can write bad fanfiction at the drop of a hat. And I love trivia, although I don't know if keeping hundreds of nearly useless facts crammed into my cranium is really a talent.

I'd like to THINK I'm good at writing (fiction), but who knows. I like trying to draw, but it's not something that comes naturally to me. I can also type and read reeeeeally fast (even though I don't type in the 'correct' way).

And I get good grades without trying very hard. *Runz!*
 
If there is something I'm good at, then I will never admit to it. I just cannot meet the standards.
