When are they going to wrap up TR's plot?

They've done nothing for the team in a whole. They had tons of times to do something about them.

The first season, Orange Islands, Johto, Battle Frontier, around the time FRLG came out, and around the time HGSS came out.

TR as a total isn't really doing anything. The reject trio keep on trying to catch Pikachu, which I don't even see as having a point any more. They might as well quit TR and become friends/rivals/frenemies with the twerps.

They're non-TR plots are better than their regular ones anyway. Those are one long gag and their characters seem far better in their focused episodes or when they aren't trying to capture Pikachu or a Pokemon.

What has Giovanni done? Nothing.

Are the Neo TR gang ever going to appear if no future generation main games have to do with them?

Never, baby, never! TR is so damn good. I never want them to leave, especially Jessie.

Seriously though, TR is what comes to mind when someone says spammed comic relief.

When the show ends. I seriously doubt that they will end TR's group any time before then. They are like Brock, just get used to them being there. Plus, they are the show's main usage of comic relief.

Yeah, let's remove the only consistantly entertaining element the show has.

No really. Jessie, James and Meowth are pretty much the main antagonists the show has. They represent a comedic villainous quality that practially every TV show aimed at children has.

Also, considering that they aren't based on any game characters, the writers have more "freedom" to do what they want with them. They have certain abilities as characters that none of the "heroes" of the anime have. They can get away with making lewd humor, fourth-wall referencing and other jokes that would be odd and inappropriate for Ash and friends to make.

Not to mention that they've become directly involved in the contest arcs and Jessie has made herself into a serious rival character for Dawn.

So it's really an outright lie to claim that they are "doing nothing".

Catching Pikachu for them is basically the same as catching that wascally wabbit or that tweety bird. It's never going to happen, but if they stop, the show looses it's whole point.

Also, what the hell is the whole point of "Neo Team Rocket". Frankly, they're much weaker then the original Team Rocket.

When Ash arc ends, which will be when the show ends, which will be whenever the show stops making money. Lets face it, that's not happing any time soon.

Well, if they are apart of post-Giovanni TR they can still continue on their antics while introducing TR as a total into the anime.

if you've watched the show from the very beginning which you said you have, you'd know they're only here for comedy relief, they're not going anywhere.

quite frankly i don't mind there presence, sure they can be annoying at times, but admit it, that's why we love them so much. plus it's not like they haven't been introducing new organizations

All the new TR admins from HGSS will likely wind up never appearing in the anime either.

I'm getting sort of tired of the whole business of Team Rocket trying to catch pikachu. Especially since Jessie's getting good at contests, the team have has less reason to stay together and continue their exercise in futility. I hope Jessie gets unmasked during the Grand Festival, and the protagonists convince her to stick with contests. We need some new villains for a change...

TR have a plot?

wait...
Since when were TR considered "villians"?...As far as I know, they have been comic relief character since episode 3.How was a group of "villians" defeated by a caterpie?

If you mean fire them for the sake of being fire them,I say no.I love TR...(well,JapaneseTR at last)I love their episodes and interactions.Plus they make the episodes feel more "alive".

Being villainous has nothing to do with how good they are at it. Besides, they are the main antangonistic force for a great chunk of the anime's fillers. Sometimes they show up in a side-plot that has nothing to do with what the heroes are doing, and other times they end up hi-jacking the episode.

Honestly, TR are the most well developed humans regularly on the show now, even more so than Ashy boy himself. Yes, their quest to capture pokemon is pretty moot now, but they wouldn't have it any other way. They need each other, even though they need to be reminded of that every now and then. Doomed to be the fall guys and comic relief. Yeah, the show wouldn't be the same without them.

Are we talking about the team as a whole, or just the trio here?
In either case, the answer is the same - they want to keep the trio on the show, so they can't "wrap up" either their storyline or the main team storyline without either writing them out or changing them too much.

They could use new uniforms. Ash gets one every season, why can't they?

TR is simply the comic relief as has been said above. Teams Magma, Aqua, and Galactic are the main "villains" with the TR trio being treated as the main antagonists on a show by show basis.

There might be another Giovanni TR arc in the future, but for now TR is what it is.

I don't know...maybe when the show ends? Jessie, James and Meowth have been in the show so long that they've been considered "key characters," I guess.

I really like the TRio! I say keep 'em. Sure, they get boring or stale once in a while, but they remain to be hilarious (to me at least). And besides, if they did leave, tons of ppl would complain about that as well.
