Just a simple question. No arguments about who's better. No arguments about Misty at all.

Just a simple question. What was the last episode she was shown? My thought it was when she walked by a television monitor during the Hoenn league.

Once I get the answer, this thread will be closed.

#1.Shocks and Bonds only for 2-3 seconds

#2.Gotta Catch You Later was her last full ep appearance

She appeared in the first two Battle Frontier episodes, if I recall right.

I think by air dates, her last appearance was in "The Mastermind of Mirage Pokémon" - it's the newest episode/movie/whatever she appeared in
(in some of the DP movie intros you can see Misty too when they show scenes from past movies, I think at least movie 10 had this scene, not sure about 11/12)

But I guess you're talking about regular episodes so in this case, her last appearance was in the episodes when Ash came back to Pallet after Hoenn
Since then, while she didn't appear - she was mentioned in some ways:
- BF: Oak gives Ash Misty's lure
- BF: When Ash call the Kanto starters he has flashbacks to when he got them and Misty is seen there
- DP: Ash use Misty's lure and Ash and Brock explain to Dawn that Misty is the Cerulean Gym Leader and she used to travel with them
- DP: The Cascade Badge or a badge similar to it (since some of the badges there were only similar to known ones but not exactly them, we can't be sure) appeared in the Mismagius ep... and later the Cascade Badge (100% this time) was shown with all of Reggie's badges

Misty also narrated some special airing of trivia or something during DP in Japan (just her voice)
And she appear in the High Touch OP
I think I covered everything... but maybe I forgot something

Her last appearance is the "Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon." Episode-wise, her last appearance was that Cleffa episode. She also had a cameo appearance as a lure in Buizel's capture episode, which really does not count.

Well like others have mentioned Mistys last appearance happened during "Mastermind of Mirage pokemon"(10th anniversary special) which aired in 2006.

Talking about her last episode appearance,it happened during start of Battle Frontier arc,in following episodes:"The Scheme Team"(very end of said episode),"The Right Place at Right Time" and in "A Real Cleffa Hanger" which aired back than in 2005(Japanese air date).

Since than so far she didnt make any actual appearance in episodes(fishing lure or pokemon opening doesnt count).

Her last episode was AG134 which aired back in 2005. After that the Mastermind.

I don't count stuff like the lure or opening, its not exactly the same as a real appearance.

Quite true, her most recent one was the Mastermind Of Mirage Pokemon special in 2006. Most recent in the main TV series was A Real Cleffa Hanger and as the majority of her fans would argue, she is LONG overdue for another appearance (and in my mind intros DON'T COUNT and references DON'T COUNT as well) so I think one could and should happen in the future. Sorry about this, trying really hard not to go into rant mode since this is kind of a sensitive subject for me.

But would one count The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon as an "appearance?" Considering how this is non-canon?

Mastermind is canon, though. There hasn't been anything to contradict it's placement yet, and besides which, it was made by the original writers, so that fact alone makes it more canon than, say, Pokemon Live.

Besides, if Mastermind isn't canon, then the movies aren't either, and it's extremely clear that the Movies are canon.

Mastermind clearly is canon with movies, yes, but I still don't count movies as canon, because if I did, Ash must have been one of the most famous people in Pokémon world for his meetings with so many legendaries, and he clearly is not that famous.
Not to mantion Mastermind contradicted even the movies, or more accurately Mewtwo Returns. It is clearly said at the end of Mewtwo Retuns only Ash, Misty, Brock, Jessie, James and Meowth know about Mewtwo existence. Even if Young learned about Mewtwo from some of the computers he hacked (which I have difficulties to believe), there's no way he can know Ash, Brock and Misty know Mewtwo. So, it's hard to take Mastermind as canon even with movies.

Her last appearance was A Real Cleffa-Hanger. Considering that was 2006, she hasn't had an appearance for ages.

I believe it was in Pikachu's memories.... how he extracted D.N.A. from memories (or whatever he did to make mirages) is a mystery to me.

Also, I think some movies are canon, while others have yet to be proven as such. The only examples I can think of is Ash's aura from movie 8 (DP071+ DP072), and Dawn's Lunar Wing from movie 10 (forgot which one).

I don't want to start Movie canon flame here, but I must say this: Ash's Aura played some role in Movie 8 and also played some role in anime, but it was in no way related. Nothing from Movie 8 plot was ever mentioned in anime and I don't see why people see that Aura thing as proof for Movie 8 being canon, because it clearly proves nothing.

Aww. You beat me to it. I don't even count the mirage special. >>

Then how do Ash and Brock know about Aura?

The movies all fit where they were placed in the original Japanese airings without any problems. It's not like other series where the events of the movies can't fit anywhere - this is an episodic series. And who is to say that Ash would be famous? Ash's role in their events generally isn't known by the general public any more than all his legendary meetings in the actual show.

And none of the question of canon changes the fact that Misty did indeed appear in Mastermind.

If we say Mastermind is canon, then Prof. Oak owns a Dragonite that we've never seen before. lol.

Then how do Ash and Brock know about Aura?
Brock was already proven he knows moves and Pokémon who didn't appear in anime before. He can also know about Aura. And Ash? He can learn anywhere. Hell, we are talking about Pokémon world and Ash is not as stupid as some people are trying to do him. He can know what Aura is simply from watch TV  No proof for me about Movie 8
BTW, wasn't it Brock who explained Aura in Movie 8 either?

Misty appeared briefly in the episode File 2 - Cubone of the Pokémon Origins mini-series. She was shown being challenged by Red, who later defeated her off-screen, earning the Cascade Badge.
