Considering the gap in the games is actually much smaller than the gap between the 2nd and 3rd gyms, and considering Sinnoh is going at a VERY slow pace (72 eps. with only 3 badges), how many episodes do you think Ash will take to get to Crasher Wake?

Well we have four confirmed titles in the gap already (Galactic ep, Chingling filler, and 2-part Ranger ep), so as said, that's 4 episodes right there that we know of.

I can see about 6 more being made, maybe up to 8 if they throw in another Contest for Dawn in this gap.

Hopefully though its no more than about 10 episodes. It took us 30+ episodes to get from Gardenia to Maylene, and even though most of the episodes in that gap were fantastic, I don't want to see that length be the norm for this show.

Well, Veilstone is right next to Pastoria, so hopefully 10 eps until we get tehre, and a few more for the badge.

The gap from Eternia to Veilstone is actually the longest route in the games so far, so 30 episodes was about right. Also Lucario is in Brawl, and it just happens to appear in the anime, so I think those 2 events were on purpose. But now since Veilstone to Pastoria is so short in the games, and no Pokemon is going to be in a new game, it should only take about 10 or 8 episodes.

Nintendo didn't delay their biggest game on the Wii just so that Lucario could debut in both the anime and the game at the same time.

No, but the anime delayed this Gym battle so that Lucario could appear in both the anime and the game at the same time.

There's no way the anime knew the game would keep getting delayed. I'm sure it was just a coincidence.

Well they do correspond the episodes with the game releases. Its no surprise we're getting a Ranger 2 special at around the exact same time Ranger 2 comes out in Japan.

Since episodes have to be produced months in advance before they air, the writers likely do receive word from Nintendo when the upcoming releases are ahead of time.

Hmm......I am thinking in the opposite way.I think they originally wanted to have more fillers I think the gap would be even longer since they do not have to shorten it for a new game!

I think they do not have the planned to air the Riolu special originally. And it's good for me!I would like there to have more filler!Maybe Ash catching Rhyperior and releasing Gligar for training or at least a Rhyperior debut!

Bah! Sato could have had Rhyperior by catching the Rhyhorn when he was in the Safari Zone if the writers didn't mess up with those 30 damn Tauros.

I hope Rhyperior is being sarcastic about this "Rhyperior 4 Ash" stuff.

Getting back on topic, do you think we'll get there before Movie 11 comes out?

Hmmm. The movie will be out in four to five months or so, right? That's between twelve to twenty episodes. Maybe. I think it half depends on how many episodes we get. If it's on the light side, probably not. If we get them mostly every week, then maybe, though I think they'd be more likely to wait till after to avoid any continuity issues.

I'm putting money, right now, on the next gym battle being the week prior to the release of/the week of the movie's release - and aired as a 1 hour special, with a special look at the movie following the episodes.

I'm just hoping Ash gets done with three Gyms this year.

Since Maylene is done now, we could get the 4th Gym sometime in the summer before the movie, and the 5th Gym sometime in October or November.

That would just leave Gym 6, 7, and 8...in addition to the Sinnoh League for 2009. Although somehow...I think we'll still be in Sinnoh during 2010 because I can't see all that happening in one year since there's just too much going on in addition to that. Hell...Dawn still only has ONE ribbon, we're definitely in store for a lot of episodes dedicated to her to play catch-up with Ash soon too.

Somehow I think Kenny will end up with a Rhyperior. ;p

Rhyhorn is the first Pokémon that they created.(http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Rhyhorn#Trivia) And I think that's why they didn't make a pre-evo for it but a final form instead!Having such a great honor, I think its final form got to be our hero's!

Yeah! Her rivals also only gets a few(1 for Jessie and 2 for the others) when comparing to Drew!
I would be pleased if all the five can enter the Grand Festival!
