So. It's been 50 + days since Japan released the first episode of season 18 ( Pokemon XY : the series ) and we - the english speaking watchers - still haven't seen the season on tv let alone know when it's airdate is! So it leaves me thinking HMMMMMMM. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly head of heels about the anime. But since there is no other shows I like on since they are either: on break, canceled or I don't like the show anymore. (As Iris would say ) This show is more for little kids! But that’s just me.

When do you think season 18 will air in english speaking countries?
 
I believe this was discussed in better detail in another thread, and I'm afraid I can't remember the exact words, but the guys who do the dub always like to take a break after a while just to get everything prepared for the next season, at the same time making sure they don't get too close to the original version's air-date. I'd say give it a few months perhaps?
 
Huh that does make sense. I mean everyone needs a break sometimes especially around the Christmas and new year time of year. It was discussed in a different thread? Oh. I didn't know that. I searched but never saw. This threads gonna get closed sometime I suppose.
 
I think we all pretty much know it'll start airing around February, based on the recent seasons.
 
It will air maybe next month or something as we really don't know as of yet.
 
I just wish they'd given us something more interesting/fun to pass the time with instead of XY repeats like they did last year.

(Oh, to have been in the same room with some younger PokeFans when CN played those old Kanto episodes! :lol:)

If you think about it, just try to figure out how many episodes the current TV show that is on that has replaced Pokémon the Series: XY has. Many of the other TV shows that last for a short time usually have around 12 episodes, so if you count how many from when that TV show began in December, it would take until March 21st before it airs again, is it not? What TV show is currently on right now in the US that has replaced Pokémon the Series: XY? Has previous seasons of Pokémon ended around December? Or have they ended around November? I would suggest doing some calculations on it and the other TV show before speculating on when it airs.

That's how I figured out when season 18, which I would end up speculating it's name to be something like "Pokémon XY: [title here]", perhaps "Pokémon XY: Kalos Legends"? xD
