Hey, I just started watching Pokemon and was wondering if anyone could tell me after what episodes I should watch the different movies, to make it all fit together I mean.

The movies were released in between these episodes in Japan and, therefore, contain spoilers up to that point in the anime:

Movie 01: Between "The Case of the K-9 Caper" and "Pokemon Paparazzi"
Movie 02: Between "Bound for Trouble" and "Charizard Chills"
Movie 03: Between "Forest Grumps" and "The Psychic Sidekicks"
Movie 04: Between "The Kecleon Caper" and "The Joy of Water Pokemon"
Movie 05: Between "Just Add Water" and "Lapras of Luxury"

Movie 06: Between "Having a Wailord of a Time" and "Win, Lose, or Drew"
Movie 07: Between "Sky High Gym Battle!" and "Lights, Camerupt, Action!"
Movie 08: Between "A Real Cleffa-Hanger" and "Numero Uno Articuno"
Movie 09: Between "Aipom and Circumstance" and "Strategy Tomorrow - Comedy Tonight"

Movie 10: Between "Steamboat Willies" and "Top-Down Training"

Was actually hoping to stumble across something like that list myself, as I've been trying to watch the movies along with going through the series as I've been watching through it again. :)

Note though that those are just when the movies were released, and not necissarily where they fit chronologically in the series. The first one is the most obvious example; it can't occur any earlier than "Showdown at the Pokecorral" since thats when Mewtwo escaped from Giovani. And the 6th movie probably takes place sometime after "The Spheal of Aproval" since before then the kids were hanging around Slateport city so May could partcipate in a contest.

The first movie was retconned into following a couple later episodes, yes, but anything else is just pure speculation based on loose facts. Yes, movie 6 shows the group on the road, and probably doesn't take place in the middle of a short mini-arc where they hang around in a particular town, but... really, does it matter. They weren't written to go between two specific episodes like that anyway, really.

Yeah, the first movie is a little nearer to the Indigo League, because they had that one episode with the escape of Mewtwo.

I loved TR in that episode. They were all like "Well, this might not be a good time..."
