Whens CN going to start season 11?

Um, no. If you look on the CN website, you'll find that they're only airing reruns of Tag! We're It and Glory Blaze. And the following weekend they will show Settling a Not-So-Old Score and Drifloon on the Wind!. And the Pokemon.com article said nothing about Season 11 starting next weekend.

CartoonNetwork will air the 10th movie on Sunday the 24th. Then the production cast and crew will need time to produce the upcoming episodes with the new Dubbing studio. Based on last year, my guess is that Season 11 will formally begin by either May or June of this year. And we might possibly get sneak previews in April.

I don't think we get snek preview this year. Last year were special, because new games were released. This year we can't expect such thing. If we get something, then maybe Mystery Dungeon 2 special, but all depends on when the related games will be released.
 
but if i remember right, a lot of new seasons usually started during the summer. and it makes sense, cuz what do kids do during the summer......stay home watch TV, and no school. so i saw may or june also
 
Actually, summer is known as being the time of the year when people aren't watching TV due to vacations and whatnot. Which is why there are so many reruns during the season.
 
Yeah but we're February now. I have a hard time believing we'll go all of April and May without new episodes. CN is already missing out on February sweeps for Pokemon, why would they lose the rest of these months?

Not starting a new season till September will be a rough time to wait. It doesn't seem to me that CN is restricted by "seasons" like KidsWb was, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Season 11 start quicker than expected. After all, what the hell happened to the 52 episode orders? That went up in the air, so this could too.

we can't count anymore on the "every season is 52"
As I explained in my thread seasons 1-8 are 52 each but season 9 is 47 and season 10 is 51
Currently we can't know how many episodes season 11 will be

I just can't see CN ordering a 47-episode season and then a 51-episode season. I think the more likely scenario is that CN actually did order 52 episodes per season and that PUSA is just ignoring that so they can divide the series however they want on their website.

Which would mean that PUSA's "Season 10" actually contains five holdovers from Season 9 and that "Season 11" will contain six holdovers from Season 10. This kind of thing happens all the time with other shows.

This is all an unproven theory, of course, but it makes some amount of sense.


We'll probably see Season 11 in June or so.

It's not just their site
It's how other countries get the show
As I said in Israel we got season 9 and it was 47 episodes only and someone else said I think in France they did the same
 
You also have to remember that PUSA will be using a new Dubbing studio for Season 11 (presumably DuArt, but there's been no official confirmation yet), and they will need time to transition. Although, this new company may have actually worked on The Rise of Darkrai, so everything might already be in place.

I also wonder if Season 11 will kick off with the flashback episode (DP48), or if it will even be included at all.

I thought Eric Stuart confirmed that the new studio is really DuArt (don't ask me how he knew this though, someone just posted this message on another forum). Although, I guess that could be what you meant by the "no official" confirmation part. ^^;


Anyway, it would be really cool if CN does air the clip episode! ^^
 
Yeah, but I'm not assuming this as an absolute fact until there's official confirmation from a source that would be in the know-how like Pokemon USA (or DuArt or whoever is listed in the credits).
 
They can't really air DP48 out of place
It shows that Ash doesn't have Chimchar, Dawn was only in two contests, The group are on their way to Hearthome City...
If they wanted to dub it they'd put it in the correct order... they simply decided it isn't important enough just like a lot speculated they'd think... just like that Ash/May episode of AG (though the AG one was half of the length of a normal episode so that was another reason not to dub it... I didn't watch that but I remember people said its half episode length)
