I'm wondering something. Back when I was in Grade Three I got the whole "Pikachu Shocks Back!" series. I've never been able to find any other mangas since. Does anyone know a good place to find the rest of the graphic novels for Den-Geki Pikachu without actually ordering online?

You're best bet would probably be a used book store. Far as I know, new copies aren't being printed so most comic/manga shops or chain book stores wouldn't have them.

Used? Only if they're good as new... Is that possible at a used book store?

I guess so. *shrugs*

If you do plan on finding this manga without the wonderful device known as the interweb, you're going to really have to do some effin' hardcore research. It's incredibly unlikely that anyplace in your hometown will have them, for one thing. If you're really wanting to find these things, you'd probably have to go to hundreds upon hundreds of places before finding anything.

I'm not even exaggerating. Pokémon manga was never even really widely available in the first place in the U.S., so the chance of you finding a sold copy of it are slim to none.

I guess I'll have to wait yet another two and a half long years until I can order online...

Whoa, wait, really? o.o I thought they would be unorderable.

Aaaaand now I look like an arse. :/

Hm, what would be the odds of Viz rereleasing this one like they did parts of Special? (Only not in parts)

Letters, anyone? ^_-

I've been saying that all along. They should release a mega-comic which includes all four volumes, with an unedited/flipped version for people like Dogasu.

Well, I've found "The Best of Red" Pokemon Manga book in Borders Bookstore. Try checking out the manga sections if there's one near you.
(([offtopic]And I'm new. Hi.[/offtopic]))

I want The Electric Tale! Not some cheap compilation of the inferior manga.

XD375, do you have a Borders bookstore nearby? Usually, Borders (or Borders Express, even) tends to carry Pokemon manga (yes, even the Ono series) or they can place a special order for you. The other stores like Waldenbooks don't really carry them.

Hey, if you ever get stuck, try eBay. Does this help: ETOP

And yes, the lesser known bookstores are known to have them. BTW, if I find mine, I'll sell them to you--I know I had it, I'll see if I still have it.

I don't order stuff online usually. I'm only fifteen. I do however, like to browse eBay and Amazon sometimes, just to see what they're selling.
