I would say maybe places near Japan such as Korea. Also Mexico isn't in South America.

There's probably quite a few in Canada. I'm willing to bet a lot of them are in Montreal and the rest of Quebec - I know quite a few geeks on other forums who live there.

My relatives in Italy are huge Pokemon fans, their friends are really into the series as well. So there are a lot of Pokemon fans there and in other European countries I'm sure. Brazil seems to have a lot of fans of the series as well.

I think you might be surprised who likes Pokemon and who doesn't. People who know me have absolutely no idea I like Pokemon at all, yet I'm super into it. I think there could be more fans in any given location than anyone may know about.

I don't know too much about how popular the games are in other countries. I cannot walk around the university I go to without seeing a few people showing their Pokemon love (myself included). Many of them are not even from the US, coming from places like Korea, China, and Mexico.

I live in the UK and I'm originally from Romania. Pokemon used to be huge in Romania back in the early 00's but nowadays not so much.....same goes for the UK.

Apparently, the top five countries that use Bulbagarden, PokéBeach, Seribii, etc are the US, Brazil, UK, Canada, and Australia, in that order. The US, UK, Canada and Aussie were unsurprising as they are the four biggest English speaking countries, but Brazil, a Portuguese speaking country, was a bit of a surprise, especially since it has second place. It can therefore be safely assumed that Brazil has the most Pokémon fans per capita (despite this, they still won't allow you to play the games in Portuguese).
