Where do the people in the pokemon world get their meat?

Like, in the anime, and games, they explain how they milk Milktanks for dairy products... but what about meat? do they slaughter pokemon for it, like Tauros or Milktanks? or do they actually have animals like cows there?

What do you guys think?
 
Trianers feed their pokemon nuritious pokefood so trained pokemon dont need meat

but pokemon are for the most based on (for the most) animale in ower world so yea wild pokemon should eat other wild pokemon the anime would never show something that violant thought

as for games pokemon like magikarp are eat'in all the time garados strimp sounds awsom and now im hungry

Good question. Such a child-friendly world has to get their meat somewhere.
 
I don't think they're use Tauros/Miltank, they seem too close to the uncommon side of Pokemon.

Personally I'm all for Bidoof Burgers. ;D Gotta make use of their abundance-y some how, amirite?

Maybe not...Magikarp's are hard to eat...And all thatl. So there should be 'normal' animals they could eat..
 
Well, some naughty people eat Slopoke tails, so it would stand to reason that Pokemon are eaten, althought for some reason its not ok to eat slowpoke...

Pokemon eat other Pokemon (Pidgeot eat Magikarp etc), so it would make sense that people also eat Pokemon. Although they probably just don't want to talk about eat the things that you should 'love' on a kids show.
 
That, is one question I kind of don't want to know....
 
Well...Considering that we've (as far as I know) never really seen a creature in any form of Pokemon media that wasn't either a human or a Pokemon (meaning non-pokemon animals), but we have seen characters eating meat, it would stand to reason that either people are eating roasted Pidgey, or they're cannibals.

I've always pondered that idea for some reason, and somehow I like to think that all their meat = veggie burgers/tofu! -shot-

I do think they.. eat the Pokemon, although I doubt the writing staff wants you to dig that far into the whole thing. xD How can you not help but wonder? Still, in that world Pokemon are just the same as our typical animals, and we eat some of them.. so, yeah.
 
In DPPT, they talk about eating Magikarp. And you must pick the bones clean and put them in a river.

People in this world eat meats, and they keep meat-bearing animals as pets. I don't see why the Pokemon world would be any different.

Personally, I think there are actuel animals in this world, they just have no reasoning to show them at this point. I seem to recall animals have appeared in the Anime, fish in particular. They just don't really need to show them when they've got all these normal Pokemon...I could imagine a character trying to catch a normal animal though...
 
I say the meat is tofu or some soybean something or other made out to look like meat. They can do that.
