Where or when will form differences happen in Hoenn?

I have created this thread to discuss speculation on where and when the form differences of some of the Pokémon in this hyperlinked list will happen in Hoenn. For example Deoxys was only available in its Normal Forme in Ruby and Sapphire but I expect there will be some meteorites in Mossdeep Space Centre to use to change its forme in these remakes. Also Sawsbuck is only available in one form in X and Y and this could be changed in the remakes. I also remember that Shellos and Gastrodon, which have West Sea and East Sea forms, were originally planned to be in Generation III so would their form differences be available in different parts of Hoenn?

Spiky-eared Pichu in the Safari Zone or something, what what.

Shellos & Gastrodon form differences need to be in ORAS, and not some stupid one-in-OR-other-in-AS crap. Is it just me, or does it seem like Game Freak wants to just casually forget about the location gimmick around those two Pokémon? Bring the gimmick back! Maybe have them divided by north & south rather than west & east, with Mauville being the point of division. Actually, wouldn't it be cool if you were able to catch both forms on one route, like say Route 117 for the sake of example, depending on whether th grass was located to the north or the south? I think that'd be cool, at least.

I'm wondering if Deerling/Sawsbuck could change forms in ORAS similar to how Burmy does it, instead of by seasons. I could totally see Deerling changing into its Winter form in Shoal Cave, for example, and maybe its Autumn form in Fortree City. I mean, they could also bring back the seasons mechanic, but whatevs.

I don't see any of the other ones really changing, though, in my opinion; just bring their mechanic over from X/Y.

Maybe one kind could be found in-land in lakes and rivers, while one is found only in sea routes? Could be interesting, a freshwater/salt-water comparison.

I had thought that the location gimmick for Shellos was supposed to be unique to Sinnoh's geography. They're called East Sea and West Sea, and that obviously won't work for Kalos, which has only a sea in the west, or Unova which didn't have either. It might for Hoenn, but seems a bit odd.

Not quite form differences, but there are also evolution methods to think about. Leafeon, Glaceon, Probopass and Magnezone... I guess Petalburg Woods and Shoal Cave for the first two.

- I hope we get the 'Zen mode' Darmanitan in the Desert. (If in the Dex)
- Flabebé formes in different patches of flowers (I'd expect they might make a return if they're in the Dex)
- Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist different formes at Mt. Pyre.

The Space Center for Deoxys
River vs Sea for Shellos colors. There are plenty of rivers in Hoenn, so pink shellos would live mostly the mainland, while blue shellos live on the coast/beach/islands

For Sawsbuck, there are a few options....

1. Seasons return (unlikely.)
2. Different areas have different forms (maybe...)
3. Each game has a different form (I think this is the most likely right now....)
4. There is an are where you change his forms (probably not.)

I thought Sawsbuck changed forms in Gen VI? Just that the form it has depends on when it was hatched or else it has to be in your party when the seasons change. Which is probably annoying, but I guess if you care a lot about Sawsbuck then it doesn't matter.

I'd love it if seasons returned but I can't see it happening. But since they have different types of weather in different locations, it would be great if Sawsbuck could change according to that.

Reveal Glass could be in Granite Cave. DNA Splicers could be handed out at the Devon building if you bring Kyurem. You'll probably also be able to change Rotom forms there too. Furfrou's form could be changed in Lilycove. Sawsbuck's forms could be changed if you bring it to the Weather station at a certain time of the year. The Gracidea flower could be handed out in Fortree City. The Griseous Orb will likely be found at the Sky Pillar. One Pokemon I'm not sure about though is Unown. It's only found in HGSS, DPPt, and FRLG. I'm assuming Game Freak will let us catch it again since it can be bred. Are there any places in Hoenn that could to be home to Unown?

Sawsbuck's forms are immutable, meaning that once you have one, you're stuck with it. Like with Shellos/Gastrodon, they'd have to provide different locations/conditions for its other forms to appear.

As for Unown, IDK that any existing area would be appropriate for Unown (Sealed Chamber maybe?). They might need a new area for it. I agree we need a new area for them to appear sometime though, they haven't been obtainable anywhere since HGSS and it's getting really annoying transferring 28 forms of Unown into every game.

Anyway:

-Leafeon: Petalburg Woods
-Glaceon: Shoal Cave
-Magnezone/Probopass: New Mauville
-Deoxys: Either Fallarbor Town or Mossdeep Space Center
-Rotom: Devon Corporation
-Shaymin: Verdanturf Town

Not sure about any of the others

In addition to Devon Corporation, I can see Rotom's appliances being in the Lilycove Department Store since you're able to buy secret base decorations there. I can see a situation where the basement is filled with decoration stock and in some of the boxes you find the appliances. It would be somewhat similar to how it was handled in BWB2W2.

Unown could be somewhere in the Cave of Origin or the Sky Pillar, in a new section after becoming Champion. (If they stick more closely to RS rather than E in terms of the story, it wouldn't even have to be a new section in the Sky Pillar since you couldn't access it until you defeated the E4 anyway.) They could also be in the Desert Underpass if they bring that back.

Also, y u no Deoxys somewhere near Meteor Falls? :( It would be similar to how it was done in Veilstone City, just some random meteors jutting from the ground. Of course it would make more sense for that to happen near Meteor Falls than near Veilstone.

Oh, and Relic Song could be taught in the Lilycove Contest building.
