Key Stones are held by trainers in order for their Pokemon to mega evolve. Many trainers use a variety of accessories to enclose their stone, like bracelets, charms, rings, gloves, hats, necklaces, earrings, anklets, even lipstick in anime Cynthia's case! The Key Stone wiki page has a nice extensive documentation of various ones across mediums if you're curious.

Let's say you're a trainer in the Pokemon world who makes use of Mega Evolution, where do you keep your key stone?

I think mine would probably be with a pin in my trainersona's hat, which already has a pin placed into it (though not sure if it'd be enclosed into the prexisiting pin design or its own pin that's just the stone itself). Alternativley, I can see a little hairclip to enclose it (again not sure if it'd be placed in a a prexisting clip or just be the the stone itself as the clip)

Probably as a pendant on a necklace. I've always really liked necklaces so that feels like the most natural place for me.
Whatever location would force me to hit the Brock pose every time I want to mega evolve.

So I guess, like, a badge or lapel pin or something?

Assuming they can be made small enough (like 5-7mm max), probably an earring or a ring. If they have to be bigger, maybe as a keychain sort of thing.

my first instinct was to say an earring, since i wear them all the time, but i like to switch up my earrings and i wouldn't want to lock myself into only wearing one specific pair d: i kinda like the idea of having it attached to my watch, like embedded in the strap or face somehow, since it's the one accessory-type thing that i always have on my person.

For me, it would be either a watch-like device or a fingerless glove; something I would not easily lose or forget about.

My first instinct was to say my glasses, because any accessory I don't literally need I lose. But using it might hurt my eyes? It'd be kinda like gettimg flashbanged I think. Maybe I could put it on my cane somehow? It's another thing I don't lose on account of needing it, and the light wouldn't be right in my eyes. Maybe I could get a handle pad that holds the stone down a little lower? Wouldn't want it actually on the handle, because I think that'd make the cane itself uncomfortable to use.

I'd probably embed one in my fidget cube but I'd probably be less likely to lose or forget the thing if it was on a bracelet or a necklace long enough to let me wrap it around my wrist as a bracelet. Either way, it'd definitely be on something to let me use for stims. Honestly, I wonder if they could be put on smart phone cases given the prominence of Rotom Phones...

I'd wear it on a bracelet. That way, I wouldn't easily forget it the way I tend to forget other things. If my ears were pierced, however, I'd wear it as an earring. I'd probably never, or at least, rarely, take it off. Or, I'd have it on my phone (if I had one) or a pen, as I tend to keep things in my pocket a lot.

honestly my first thought was my bra...

I personally wouldn't want it as an earring for several reasons. too easy to lose it, possibly without even noticing depending on the weight (since this is summer, hello swimming pools and the sea!). if someone wanted to steal it from me (whether for its value or to prevent me to mega-evolve my Gardevoir, I can see a less lawlnoobs Team Rocket do this), they'd wound my ear as they grabbed and pulled. and I don't like asymetrical earrings... wearing a copy on the other ear would just double the previous downsides

what paranoia

so assuming it's not "my first thought," I'd go for a necklace or pendant. maybe a beads or pearls necklace to go with the key stone. putting it on an evening glove alongside my dress is also an option for formal events... but Cynthia's also got a good idea with her lipstick!

in short, fashionable, practical and not dangerous

could be a custom bracelet with sparkly beads in the colors of my various pride flags! accentuating the key stone's rainbow with more rainbows (and colors in general) would be a cutesy touch i think

also have considered phone charms, but this thing flies and moves way too much it's gonna hit stuff a lot and will be accidentally activated at least once it's probably not a good idea

Hhhhold up, GLASS, EYE, KEYSTONE. Trust me, on my left eye (right eye dominant) so it does not interfere if im only seeing right. And I can do whatever sans does when he gaster blasters. (Also imagine the aura farming.)
