Which Anime Legendary Would Beat Arceus?

In a battle with Arceus from Arceus and the Jewel of Life, which Legendary from the early movies stands the best chance of winning?

Mew would. Since it can transform (at least I think it did), it would turn into Arceus, Judgment it, and then turn back and go invisible. Think about it. And invisible, swift cat that shoots pink lasers. Arceus got nothin' on dat.

Definently Lugia from M02. It's so powerful that it has to stay at the bottom of the ocean, or else it would destroy the world. Besides, it would look like an awesome fight!

Lugia!!! Lugia has always been one of my favourite legendaries. Plus the second Movie is my favourite Pokemon Movie of all time and Lugia was so strong in it!!! That and I hate Arceus so anything beats it really.

Lol, mewtwo ftw. Mewtwo was bred from mew's DNA, and his sole purpose was to pwn everything in sight. If mewtwo can destroy all of gary's pkmn w/o moving, just imagine what it could do if it was....

None stands a chance. His immune to s*it. The only chance to beat Acreus is another giant meteor XD.

Anime-wise, there's just no chance. He beat down Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, who were all fighting him at the same time. Plus, he has those Plates to defend himself.

Are...are you serious? Arceus? No legendary could defeat Arceus. It's the supposed 'god' of the Pokemon universe. Not to mention that it single-handedly defeated Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina in movie 12 like the above poster stated.

Well anyways, Lugia has the best chance, if any, of defeating Arceus. The others wouldn't stand a chance against it even though Zapdos is awesome.

Unfortunately, the Legendary Birds in "The Power of One" each exhibited only one of their moves (unless you count "Fly", which they obviously all knew how to do). That being said, here they are:

From the looks of Articuno's island in the movie, I'm guessing it knew Blizzard as well.

Arceus tore down The Dragon Trio with ease right? (Never seen the movie) seriously I don't think any Legendary standsa chance at all they'd all be raped badly...

Yeah it does Movie Twelve the movies count as part of the Anime and Shadow Lugia never appeared in the Anime or Movies as far as I know

Well, I haven't seen the movie either :lol: but my understanding was that it wasn't exactly with "ease" but yes, Arceus beat the Dragon Trio.

He isn't the only legendary to pull off amazing feats in the anime, though. For instance, I don't recall petrification and DEATH as regular side-effects of Psybeam - yet Mewtwo and Mew killed and turned to stone Ash in the first movie with that very move (which, incidentally, wasn't even their most powerful move).

I think Mew or Mewtwo vs. Arceus would be a very exciting battle. Or better yet, Mew AND Mewtwo vs. Arceus! ;-)
