The title should say it all. This thread is dedicated to any character not belonging to the main cast who got only an episode or a few episodes in the limelight.

So, do you have a favorite?

Yeah, that was weird. I actually feel the same way about that ex Rocket ramen guy being suspiciously similar to Mondo.

Apparently they can recycle past series plots for random filler episodes but seldom reuse CoD characters from past series. Go figure.

That would be silly. I wouldn't literally call her a poor imitation of Imite, but she did have a few notable similarities enough to remind me of her immediately, such mainly using two Metamon with no other Pokemon and cosplaying as other people.
 
She wasn't cosplaying, she's wearing similar outfit because she wants to look cool and tough like him.

I liked a lot the girl in I Politoed ya so, it was relatable how she had the dilemma of wanting to win a competition but being hindered by the performance of her Pokemon. At the end she overcomes her struggles. Yeah, stories like hers have been told hundreds of times but this time it felt more human.
 
My favorite recurring character is probably Casey. A large part of that is probably because I love baseball so I really found her character to be entertaining with all of the baseball references and her crazy fandom (which I can easily relate to when it comes to sports.)

An entertainer who does impressions with Ditto sounds like someone worth bringing back.

He could've used his Pokemon, gadgets and disguises to attempt various heists and capers (to be twarted by Ash-tachii and some Jennies, of course) like the PokeWorld version of Lupin the 3rd.

Oh sure, some of them popped up. But it would've been nice if they showed up again, or if the others appeared. The idea of the TRio teaming up with Attila & Hun sure sounds interesting.

Todd/Snap
The first honorary member of Ash-tachii! Plus, there have been a bunch of episodes about taking pictures of Pokemon that were tailor made for him.

I'd like to talk about them individually, but then this post would be REALLY long. We had several good rivals & honorary members of Ash-tachii, as well as a bunch of fun/interesting COTDs who kind of deserved some more appearances and maybe a slightly expanded role.

Jimmy & Spike
They were a rocking, head banging hoot, and one the precious few Kalos COTDs that was worth something...

The Mega-Evolution Trainers
Why give them such cool designs (including ones we barely saw) and seemingly colorful personalities if you're not gonna do much with them???

Samurai, for nostalgic purposes, he was in the first episode I watched, Challenge of the Samurai. His Metapod vs. Metapod battle with Ash... So epic.

Giselle from the School of Hard Knocks episode was a b*tch, but a really funny b*tch. So vain it was funny.

Magikarp Salesman, just too funny.

Suzie, she was very relatable, hating superficial looks-obsession and being an insecure introvert.

Todd Snap, his dedication when trying to get a picture of Pikachu was fun. And him being a photographer was also original.

Blaine. I know a Gym Leader is more than a character of the day, but his riddles make him memorable and I want to metion him anyways.

Oswald, the man who thought Clefairy is an alien. His scanner thinking Misty was an alien... Priceless.

Marina from the Bye Bye Psyduck episode, her Misty-like passion for Water Pokemon and the dry manner in which she explained that the wild Golduck was a pervert were priceless and adorable.

Melody from the Pokemon 2000 movie. A PokeShipper like me, and the way she kissed Ash and angered and teased Misty was hilarious. It would've been fun if she appeared randomly in Johto, seeing how Ash and especially Misty would react. I'm sure Brock would've hit on her.

Drake, the Orange League opponent with the Dragonite. His personality wasn't anything special, but that battle was one of the anime's most amazing battles ever.

Casey, her Electabuzz song is hilarious, and she has my favourite: Chikorita/Bayleef/Meganium.

Dr. Wiseman in the episode where Ash tried catching Noctowl was quite funny with his arrogance, and his failure to capture Noctowl.

Sakura, her almmost joining the group and having issues with strict and mean older sisters like Misty was an interesting twist.

Clair's referee was quite hilarious, using some lame puns.

1. Norman and Caroline- because they were really funny together and sometimes (their anniversary, TRio's hole) a little bit...goofy, just like May.
2. Max no. 2- because of interaction with Max no 1 and hilarious May's reactions.

1. Evil Togepi- cause it made its episode one of the most interesting in the series.
2. Dawn's Mom- i used to like her relations with daughter and the fact she was Dawn's idol.

1. Miette- Her interactions with Serena was The best and funniest part of series.
2. Shauna- she was very nice, empathic, joyful person and great trainer...and, as we know, she was pretty clever, just like Miette (#Shaunaknows).
