Which character was most influencial on Dawn's journey?

Who influenced/helped Dawn's journey as a coordinator the most?

I'm not gonna bother including Nando, Ursula or Brock, because they didn't make as big an impact on Dawn as the others. As much as I love Ursula, she was just another rival.

Out of those 3, who influenced Dawn the most after she left her mother?
 
I'd have to say Zoey. She helped Dawn from the beginning and helped her with her combination moves. ZOEY<3 But even though helping her, she never was light on her. She always tried her best to beat Dawn and in the end... did. :D
 
Ash gets overall props because he was there in the beginning of her journey. He also attended every contest, and tried to keep her focused on her goals even when things looked bad.
 
Nozomi,definitely. That is the purpose of a main rival,in the future,we will say that Shinji was one of the most influential characters in Satoshi´s career.
 
I think both Ash and Zoey had about equal influence on Dawn... both much more than Kenny
 
Kind of a toss up for me between Ash and Zoey, but I gave Ash the edge just because he's been there since the beginning. Kenny was hardly a factor at all, in my opinion.
 
I'm going to say Zoey, but only because she was probably provided more help for Dawn's progress as a coordinator. Ash was obviously very influential on her journey too.
 
I say its a tie between both Ash and Zoey.
Both gave her advice on how to deal with fear and contests.
Ash helped train her in contests.
I'd gotta say Ash. Plus he cheered for her in contests, giving her support and confidence she really needed in the begining.
 
Hmmm.... I had a difficult time choosing but I say Ash, simply because he traveled with her. Zoey is a close second though.
 
I said Ash. Ash and Dawn both supported one another throughout Sinnoh. Zoey and Piplup played a big part too. Coming in third would be a tie between Brock and Johanna. Brock, because he helped Dawn with Mamoswine, and Johanna, because she was Dawn's inspiration and her letting go of Dawn made Dawn grow up. Tied for fourth would be Kenny and Ursula, both barely influenced Dawn's journey but forced Dawn to trust herself more by being obstacles. Coming in dead last would be Nando...
 
Kenny was just an annoying rival with an ass for a face.

Ash had some impact on Dawn, but not much, mainly because they're both already a lot like each other.

Zoey would have to be the biggest influence on Dawn. She consistently provides her with advice to improve her skills as a coordinator throughout the DP saga.

Anyway. I said Zoey, but probably not for the same reasons as other people.

Zoey helped her get to that level. Without her, Dawn wouldn't have gotten there as quickly as she did. That's all though. She would have, eventually, made it to that level. Maybe not in time for the Grand Festival, but she definitely would have. That's thanks to Ash.

Definitely not saying she couldn't have done it on her own! She could have and would have, but the point is, Ash helped her with a lot. She helped Ash a lot, especially with his Gym battles. (He wouldn't have won a couple of them without her spin technique, and the Ice Aqua Jet helped him a lot).

Overall, Ash was the bigger influence, but for what matters RIGHT NOW, Zoey was. Zoey is who pushed her along towards the Grand Festival, hence rival. Without a rival of Zoey's caliber she wouldn't have had the want (need?) to push herself that hard towards a goal that big, and almost achieve said goal in the process.

If I remember correctly, Kenny didn't even get past the appeals in the GF. Zoey was the one to beat Dawn.

Ash has gone through similar tribulations as Dawn and he was always there to make her feel better. It's not like other characters who shunned Ash when he tried to show kindness.
