Which character's parents are the craziest?

i'm sorry if this is violating any rules but i wanted to see what everyone thought about the personalities of the parents of the charcters.... and which parent everyone likes best. personally ash's mum has got to be the craziest parent i've evver seen.

'hey look my son's going on another impossibly dangerous journey and he'll probably meet many strange and evil people who i'm sure he'll be glad to meet... I KNOW i 'll make him clothes'

Brock's. That was the point to start off with. Brock had to look after his 9 or so siblings because his crazy parents were off doing something else.

The most obvious are Brock's parents for reasons stated above.^

But secretly, I think Ash's mom is slowly going insane. I can just see her at home making clothes for Ash, smiling, twitching, and saying, "All for Ash...all for Ash..." :loopy:

Brock's parents. His mom was crazy enough to turn the Pewter Gym into a Water Pokemon Gym when Brock wasn't around.

Its gotta be Kojiro's parents. "Hey, we'll get you engaged with this girl we know nothing about, but you thought was cute when you were 8! And don't think of ever changing your mind if she turns out to be crazy, we'll fake our deaths and chase you all over the world until you marry her!"

I've gotta say Brock's parents. His dad abandoned him and his mom seems a little cuckoo. Who changes the type of a gym when their son isn't around? And from rock to WATER? In PEWTER City.

I rest my case.

But Musashi's got a point. They shouldn't be forcing marriage. It isn't the Medieval ages.

Harley's. Sure, we've never met them, but with the way he turned out... maybe it's best we don't.

James' parents by far. Though Flint might heading that way he's still barely holding on to his sanity. James' parents keep trying to capture him everytime they know where he is, that's really crazy

Except for faking their deaths so that their son can get married against his will, James' parents really aren't crazy. It wasn't a forced engagement, as both parents noticed that James was the one who was attracted to Jessebelle first. He left her since she wanted James to replace his Growlithe with a Skitty. They also assumed that James still had feelings for Jessebelle (love letter).

Forced marriages (for status) isn't really an act of insanity or irresponsibility.

However, Brock's parents left a teenager and ten children to fend for themselves. Even if the teenager was able to take care of the children fine, it was still irresponsible (and crazy) of them. Oh yeah, and the gym. How a teenage boy was able to juggle between battling challengers and taking care of ten small children, I don't know.

James' parents. Arranged marriage is nothing out of the ordinary, but the scope of things they've done to ensure that poor James goes along with it despite completely losing interest in Jessiebelle is ridiculous. Plus, they don't really act very sane.

ashs mom must be insane by now and brocks mum and dad are the LIMIT

(i have never understood y ms.ketchum looks more like gary then ash..)

All of the parents:

Ash- Letting Ash go off into a world with a disobedient Pikachu (at the time he got better of course).

Brock- Estranged Dad and fashion obsessed Mom

Misty- Letting their youngest daughter be in the care of superficial older siblings

Tracey- Letting him go off sketching potentially agressive Pokemon

May and Max- Letting them go off with a bunch of other kids in a region with 2 evil teams and Pokemon who can destroy the world

Dawn- Letting her go off in a region with a psychotic evil team and Pokemon who can bend the world itself. And she let Dawn go off in a way too short skirt.

In short all of their parents...

Reading all the posts, it made me realize that every one of them is crazy in a way. But James' parents are the craziest for reasons already stated. They are followed by Brock's parents for reasons also stated.

Really, the most logical choices are Brock's and James' if only because both of Brock's parents were deadbeats, leaving him with 10 siblings to take care, and having to run the gym on his own. James, while he did have the life of luxury, the fact that his parents arranged him to marry an insane woman does speak for their volume. That and I do question how much time James actually spent with his mom and dad?

Everyone else seems sane, Ash, May, and Dawn's parent are pretty normal, and at least May knew her father. Also I would like to point out, where are Gary Oak's parents?

James' parents. Faking your own deaths in order to lure your son to you so you can force him to marry a psycho? Okeydokey...
