There is a which generation do you like the most thread, and I think it is a tad misleading, because people think of specific games then check generation rather than basing it on pokemon or gameplay mechanics introduced in the Gen.

I am hoping to make a more accurate poll.

Edit: I decided to make it multiple choice, but please don't choose them all!

I was basing it on the generation as a whole. not specific games.

i like emerald. and pearl.
 
That was easy, I just picked the ones I bothered to replay, and then Soulsilver since I'm taking it really slow.
 
-Platinum (improved features over D/P)
-HG/SS (my first Johto experience; I never played G/S/C)
-R/S/E (R/S were my very first games)
 
I picked Red and Blue. I loved those back in the day, I don't think you could find me without a GameBoy and Pokémon back then. Then I'd go Crystal, Diamond, Sapphire, and FireRed. I'm not far enough into HeartGold to say anything yet.
 
I picked for Silver and Soulsilver <3333 Awww that games were jast amazing!!! <3333 I really loved playing them <333 specially Silver :D it was my second game and I enjoy a lot travelling around Kanto and Johto <333

Exactly! That is what I was saying, but some people seemed to be taking your poll in the wrong way, that is all.

Poor LeafGreen, maybe it just didn't get bought as much as FireRed.

Okay, I can look through them, but is this even in the same forum? If so, then I'm sorry, but I'll point out that it leaves out the Japanese versions (I know, not very important) and gives a none option, which doesn't make sense in this case. Plus mine is multiple choice, which will probably give a more interesting result than the other one.
 
I enjoy emerald the most plus i have it on my laptop soo yeah
 
Well when it comes to what I play alot. I really love playing Japanese pearl, Japanese soul silver, green version, red version, yellow version, Emerald and sapphire.

I also love my Diamond version but stupidly enough i forgot to vote for that. I actually have every version released but above is actually what I play the most.

If I had to pick one out of all of these to play over and over as surprising as it's going to sound Emerald would actually be my main choice in the end even with all the nalstagia of the older games and the awsomeness of the new games.
