IMO the best pokemon came from Gen 2, most of my favs did anyway. Let me know what you think!
 
Scizor, Politoed, Espeon, Umbreon, Tyranitar, etc. Gen II had it all! lol
 
For me it's between Gen II and Gen IV. Half of my squad are from Gen IV (Magnezone, Lucario and Garchomp), although Gen II had Espeon, who'se my favourite Pokemon :)
 
Yeah, the two eeveelutions from gen 4 are actually two of my all time favorites. Gen 4 just released too many doozies for my taste. Rhyperior, Lickilicky, Ambipom, Probopass, etc etc.
 
Lol the starters from Gen III were actually my least favorite. To me they all look goofy :/ Salamence and Metagross are both awesome though.
 
I liked the first one since most of them actually looked like super cute animals with supernatural powers :D well most of them got a bit less cute and bigger and powerful but still they did look like animals...

EDIT: And then theres Evil Ice Hockey Mask and Banana tree dinosaur. As well as Torpedo Shark? And theres always HSOWA. :)
 
I absolutely hate Ludicolo lol Camerupt is kinda meh in my opinion lol (double weakness to water FTL)
 
salamence, metagross, lati@s, rayquaza, jirachi, deoxys, swampert.. gen III delivered the best
 
Heh but you can't deny that Ludicolo is an interesting design whether you like it or not.

And many Pokemon have a Quad weakness.

Anyway, what I meant to say was that despite many of Gen III's designs to be goofy according to some, there are many who love those Pokemon nonetheless.

Gen III for me. It has Jirachi, Salamence, Metagross, Zangoose, Milotic, Absol, Flygon, Altaria, etc... A lot of my favorites are from Gen III
 
Gen 3 definately holds a place in my heart lol Ruby was my first pokemon game so thats where I learned about pokemon. Gen 3 is number 2 for me

You know, a while back, it might just have.

These days, Gen III love has seen a tremendous increase. Either that or the many Gen III fans have become much more vocal.
 
I'm really looking forward to the Hoenn remakes, thats for sure.
