Which Hoenn starter will you choose?

So who will you choose? I'm going with my original Hoenn starter, Treecko!

As with most games, I'll pick my top favorite starter of the Generation, meaning Torchic. Probably Mudkip in the other version. Treecko sucks.

I'll be choosing Mudkip. Blaziken is a good fighter but it looks so freaky and Sceptile doesn't have much going on. Plus, I used a grass starter in X so I fancy a change. Swampert will do me nicely.

I don't know...when I played emerald (I never played ruby or sapphire) I picked treeko and I would like to pick something different but I can't pick torchick on principal because of how OP it ends up being and mudkip always weirded me out.

Mudkip for the other...because it was my starter on the first file I beat the game on. Not sure if it was Ruby or Sapphire, though...

Water types are my forte so Mudkip, however, if the other Hoenn starters receive a mega evolution then it depends on their ability and/or type combination.

EDIT: Instead I'm going to break this sixteen-year streak (six generations) of choosing water types by default. Its Treecko whom I'm going to venture with.
