Which Mega Pokémon would you like to see the Horizons cast get if they were to get one of them?

The title is what it says. If you could choose a Mega Pokémon for a member of the Pokémon Horizons cast to get, which one would you choose? It feels doubtful that we will see many other characters get a Mega Pokémon before the story is over, but that doesn't mean we can't talk about what we would like to see or even speculate should someone actually gets one of them. I personally wouldn't mind seeing Liko get a Mega Altaria or Dot get a Mega Diancie. If this thread feels too repetitive to any others that exist, feel free to shut it down.

It feels too late to be honest, but if I had to take wild guesses taking into account my personal preference too:

Liko: Altaria, Heracross, Frosslass
Roy: Scizor, Swampert, Drampa, Fallinks
Dot: Manectric, Slowbro, Scolipede
Ult: Beedrill, Gallade, Greninja

Liko: Scolipede. I know it may seem like an odd pick, but her team has a noticeable RPG/Fairytale theme to it, and I feel like Scolipede would work very well as the steed for when Charcadet inevitably evolves and thus becomes too big to ride Pagogo.

Roy: Honestly, I think he's fine with just his Mega Lucario.

Dot: Eelektross. Since she's the tech-savvy nerd and also idolizes Iono, I feel that an Electric-type would suit her, and Eelektross has a bit of a technological theme what with it very loosely evoking a power cord.

Probably Mega Malamar for Spinel because it just screams SPINEL to me right off the bat.

I would agree if it wasn't for the fact that he already has a Psychic-type hypnotist in Beheeyem, so unless something happens to it I think Mega Malamar is unlikely.

I do agree that thematically Mega Malamar fits Spinel the best out of any of the currently existing Megas, though.

i was always a liko mega absol truther before mega voltage (despite being biased due to mega absol being my favorite, i do think they'd actually thematically gel well, and when liko's team is all fully evolved i'm going to miss her having a Four Legged guy) but at this point i'm not even sure she or anyone else are going to get megas, which is a little disappointing but it's okay. regardless, if she did get one mega absol would still be my pick, even now that we've seen a bunch of new megas as of z-a coming out. (i do really enjoy ghost's reasoning for the scolipede pick though! i didn't even consider that! i love that!!)

credit to a friend of mine for opening my eyes to this but i think dot would be good with a mega kangaskhan. dot's personal character arc had a lot to do with family and now that tinkatink is evolved, she doesn't have the really sweet sort-of-motherly relationship with a pokemon of hers like she used to. i think her coming out of her shell enough to even take care of someone else, even if in her own little unique and weird way (she has always been so aware of tinkatink's "strange" needs!) was a really great aspect of her and i don't think gimmighoul is a good replacement for that. i think she could really get along with a quirky little kangaskhan baby. alternatively, the recently announced mega zeraora would be an insanely funny pick because it's literally a mythical but it WOULD give her an electric type cat to mirror liko's grass cat and yknow. computers... streaming... electricity...

side note that i don't think cap would ever evolve, they've gotta have their pikachu mascot, but i hope that cap meets a mega raichu (or both?) at some point. i just really like mega raichu. don't care who it belongs to. i want to see them on screen
