Penny is my #1 because she's super relatable (STEM major? good at coding? hates talking to people so spends all day holed up in bedroom? same, girl) but I voted for Atticus in the poll because he's my second favorite and I think he's super underrated. He's so dramatic and entertaining, and I think guys who are into fashion are really cool (see also: Raihan, Ruby). Also have you SEEN that boy with his hood off holy smokes
 
Giacomo my good buddy Giacomo! First and foremost: dark type best type, and i a huge Grimsley fan who is very attached to headcanoning Giacomo as his nephew. But also I think Giacomo has a very engaging story and aesthetic that i find very appealing. He's probably one of my favorite Paldea characters next to Hassel.
 
Hmmm, probably Giacomo for me too. I really like the sound board-inspired details in his outfit. And his backstory resonated the most with me. I like rules, and need them to a certain extent, always have. I think most people eventually grow into at least realizing some rules are necessary, if not appreciating them, but that is not exactly normal for kids in my experience, haha. I can think of a couple times when other kids wanted less supervision and/or were actively acting out and meanwhile kid-me was just becoming increasingly distressed about the situation. He might have been too strict with his policies as class president, but I can understand where he was coming from and get an inkling of what it felt like when the other students just ditched/ignored him.
 
penny easily is my favorite since she simply just has the most stuff out of any of them for me to latch onto and i think her arc is wonderful .. but second favorite out of the other bosses id say mela. i just love her personality and her design and my fire type
 
I like feminine presenting he/hims, so I'd have to go with Ortega. Even though he's a bit of a brat and a sore loser. And, on the opposite end of the spectrum, Eri. I like her backstory to some extent also. Surprised no one voted for her on here, tbh.
