After clearing Pokemon Y some time ago, I heard the ending theme and thought it was somewhat similar to Sayonara (remix of N's Farewell listed as a bonus track). They're both beautiful music, and they both reflect the theme of the games very well. They also appear at the end of the games; Kiseki being in the ending credits, and N's Farewell being the last music to hear before the ending credits.

I'd personally have to say that "sayonara (refrain)" is my preferred of the two. They're both lovely songs, but whereas I was really attached to the B/W characters and story, I don't have quite the same sentimental feeling towards the story in X/Y. That's not to say I don't like XY, but the fact that the story was "over" in BW hit me a lot harder than it did in XY.

Definitely Kiseki. It's just so happy and upbeat sounding, not to mention it actually has lyrics, which I think was able to fully emphasize the game's meaning. It seems like the best way to end and sum up the game. This is the only time I intentionally don't rush though the credits just because I like the song so much~

Sayonara just sounds really sad and slow to me. It honestly didn't really stick out to me when I played White. In listening to it again, it does sound very similar to Kiseki, and I don't think it's bad, but it still doesn't really stand out as much, in my opinion.

Gosh, I can't tell. I have to put both because I like them both and I couldn't pick just one I like more.

My exact sentiments.

I really like both songs to be honest, but Sayonara was much more touching for the reasons stated. BW's characters and story had much more going for them. It contains both a sense of happiness and sadness, and it goes to lengths to display how is N feeling at that moment, when all he believed in crumbled down, but found reasons to keep on going thanks to the protagonist. Reasons to find his own beliefs and realize his own truth and ideals. It's a really powerful piece, to the point it made me cry. And yep, the end of the story in BW was more of an impact than the end of the story in XY as well. That's just me, of course.
