Which of Ash's teams do you think contributed the least to Ash's quest?

Out of the four regional teams Ash had, (Orange Islands was an extension of Kanto, and Battle Frontier an extension of Hoenn), which of his teams do you think contributed the least to his development as a trainer and had the least accomplishments for Ash's journey?

I said Kanto, but it was extremely close because I think all his teams have helped him about equally.

I see you included Donphan as a part of the AG team. Many people are not gonna like that. That doesn't include me though.

I think I'll say Johto because they all of his Johto pokemon did not get to truly shine.

I was doubting between Johto and Sinnoh, but chose Johto in the end because in Sinnoh he creates his own moves (which I myself don't really like, but does make him a better trainer. I guess).

I think we should wait until the end of the League to cast our votes... The Johto and Sinnoh team look like they are going to get the most focus and if Ash gets a better placement because of them...

I'm confused, this thread has an entirely different title to its sub-heading >.>

*facepalm*
None of Ash's Poké is more popular/loved/contributed more/whatever stupid thing you'll try to say than any of Ash's other Pokémon (well, except Pikachu)
The writers constantly play with Poké's strength to fit how they want every battle to play out, so there's no strong/weak, there's "how the writers feel like at the moment"
ALL of Ash's Pokémon participated at some Gym Battles, Contests, random comptitions, the various Leagues, etc... so each and every one of them contributed in its own way and there's absolutely no need to compare them

So yeah, stfu with these ridiculous threads...

And they say us Misty fans don't know when to give up. Isn't it ironic?

I can't believe 5 people voted for Ash's Kanto Pokemon.

So being his first team, used in the Indigo league, won the Orange league, dominated the Johto league, and beat Brandon in BF is not important?

I would have to say that it was his Johto team. None of them had anything particularly unique about them that challenged him like his other teams

Scott, Scott... Don't tell me this is one of your Johto-bashing threads...
There are certain aspects with each of Ash's respective teams of each region. Most of the pokemon that Ash have ever captured have done at least something. Grouping these pokemon into "teams" and basing an individual pokemon's worth by what "team" it is on has no real value.
Take a good look at the Sinnoh League, because the majority of Ash's reserves will be competing in the tournament regardless of when it was captured and what team it was on.

Out of them all, gotta say the Jhoto team.
Don't know why people say Kanto, for me them and AG Pokemon got a lot.
Now D/P Pokemon is next and will hopefully kick every one of Paul's Pokemon butt in the league.

The Johto team. Only one Pokemon (Chikorita) evolved out of them (other than that, I don't know why).

Might as well just write '(the only right answer!)' next to the Johto team, since apparently every other answer is wrong.

That said, I do agree that Ash's Johto team (specifically the starters) really did jack for him in the long run. Most of them are bland, unevolved, and really didn't do much in terms of battles. They probably would have sucked a little less if they hadn't been in the shadow of the Kanto team.

I'm glad to see the Johto team winning this poll, (or losing, depending on your point of view), it shows that most can come to the same realization of what could have been handled better in the series.

Johto. As much as I'm glad to see them again in the Sinnoh league and I can't wait to see them in action, I do also have to say that in their region they haven't done as much the other teams.

But I think the Kanto team (in the Kanto region itself) would be the team that contributed to the least. Which makes sense since it's the first region and all. It wasn't until OI and on until we saw them do more stuff.

Why the hell do you even bother with polls and threads when you end up jacking over your own opinion?
