Which of the new starters just announced, do you think will be chosen from Ash?

I hope he'll have all three starters as has happened in Kanto and Johto but it will be difficult. What do you think?
 
Well, I'm hoping that Black gets Barbecute (Which is what I'm calling the fire pig until we get a real name)

My theory is that Dawn stays, so she would get the Grass, since having Piplup AND the otter would we weird.

So Ash gets the Otter.
 
The one with the fastest final evolution.

And maybe something else.
 
I personally hope that he gets Pokabu, merely because I like it the most.

If he gets Mijumaru then I won't be thrilled.

Tsutaaja would be okay but we've had a very similar Poké like it before for Satoshi in Hoenn...

The water one only so Ash can have a fully evolved water type for once.

Too bad it looks like a rehash of Piplup.
 
Torterra pretty much threw a monkey wrench in the "Ash only gets fast Pokemon and only uses fast style", so I wouldn't say that Fire Pig is out just yet.

He could get the fire starter and the grass starter this time as well.
 
God they are so ugly, now that I've seen them.

Why does the water starter look like the ugliest abomination imaginable?

The grass one is the only semi-decent one.
 
Tsutaja, the grass one. It's the one he always gets. Though If he got Pokablu, that would be cool.

Heh, Pokablu. It's one letter away from the infamous first generation "Pikablu"...

I think hey'll gain all three sooner or later like last generation.
He gained the fire type and a water type and grass type.
He just missed Pipulp is all cuz Dawn had it.
I think there ok looking.
 
He's getting the Grass Starter again, no doubt about it. I hope it won't end up too similar to Treecko.
 
I'm guessing new girl will get fire, so Ash will get Grass and Water

cmon fully evolved water starter
 
Ash, should get the water one so that he can finally have a full evolved water pokemon down the line.
 
I'm dividing this among two things, my dream and what will really happen.

What I want him to get: The Water Type, for freshness and because he hasn't gotten a region water type since Johto.

What he'll most likely get: The Grass Type for tradition sake, since I'm pretty sure that him getting the Grass Type starter this late in the game is a given.
 
grass or the fire one. i hope to god he never considers getting the water one. something about it rubs me the wrong way.
 
Probably Grass or Fire, maybe fire (That would be interesting) not the waer as it looks cute enough for the female (compared to the other two that you could picture looking tough, the water starter I can't imagine looking tough)
 
I hope none of them because except for the Grass Starter they are all uncreative, boring or almost exact copies or earlier Pokemon

But as I'm afraid that Ash will have to catch at least one of those Pokemon I hope that he'll get the Grass Snake which is the lesser evil.

anyways back on topic, it looks like like it could be either one, we all know hell get a starter from the new gen as its predictable. really pulling for the fire starter though.
