Which part of the US do you think the next region should be based on?

Presuming that the next region will still be based on the US, which part do you think it will be based on? I can't really put any thoughts across because I don't know much about the map of the US. So, what are your thoughts?
 
Geographically, I don't the USA well at all; but I'm going to cheat and say near one of the great lakes, so there will be lots of water to surf on.
 
Isn't there already a thread about where the next region should be based on?
