Is there any Pokemon that you always tend to use when available? Whenever Pidgeot is available, I always use it, because it is one of my longtime favourite. There are only rare exceptions where I don't use it.
Mismagius, Banette or Froslass - I'm a huge fan of their designs and concept. And I always make sure they are female. Except for Froslass which obviously is female
Castform - It's cute :]
Vaporeon, Totodile, and Charmander. They are just a few rare exceptions to when i haven't used them. I love them very much and they're respective species have helped me sweep through entire regions >
Cyndaquil, Lopunny and Rampardos. Cindy made it easy to go solo-ing around Johto (with the exception of HM slaves LOL). Lopunny because I love bunnies in real life XD also Rampardos - you just gotta love his super attacks.
gen I-IV i always picked up a magikarp and placed him at the front of my party to give him the exp to evolve into Gyarydos. At the time I didn't know he had a high base stat, he just always was able to kick ass no matter the battle. Shame he's not a proper Dragon (cough-Clair-cough) otherwise I'd have one in my Dragon Team.
When ever I find a Qwilfish, I'm sure to pick it up. Especially if it has Swift Swim. Also, whenever I play through a Kanto game, I pick Bulbasaur and catch a Mankey early on.
Umbreon, but any other Eeveelution will do EXCEPT Espeon. Typhlosion-best sweeper out of fire starters. Luxray-kicks ass. Butterfree,Venomoth or Dustox-don't ask. Arcanine,Ampharos,Pidgeot,Staraptor,Dragonite
