The topic is self-explanatory. I think that Lillipup, Tangela and the Squirtle evolutionary line is a little lazy.

I mean, think about it. Its a turtle, that evolves into a bigger turtle, which evolves into a even bigger turtle.

some people would say a lot of Gen 1 pokemon were lazily designed, but out of those, i'd say voltorb and grimer/muk

As for lazily designed, that doesn't mean anything because some of the simplest designs can be better than overly complicated designs. So I'm not going to contribute, because that would be lazy judging.

Definitely a vast majority of Kanto Pokemon. A lot of the evolutionary stages are simply bigger versions of the previous one.

Well, a lot of people are noting gen one pokemon for small changes between evolutions, but in their defense, that is sort of realistic. anyways I think stantler, tropious, and the lake spirits never stood out to me, and just seemed boring.

Pretty much Gen I... special mention goes to the Voltorb, Magnemite (exluding Magnezone) Doduo, Grimer lines among others

Magneton- Three magnemites together. When they made it, they were probably tired.
Slowbro- Slowpoke with a shellder on its tail. Laaazzzy.
Emboar- Two fire-fighting starters is enough.
Grimer and Muk- A blob of poison. What crap.
Trubbish and Garbodor- A rip-off of Grimer and Muk.

Basically, all of the Kanto Pokemon evolutions - Dodrio, Dugtrio, Magneton - that are basically the same Pokemon as before with an extra head or two. A few others such as Muk and Dewgong also barely feature significant differences from their predecessors.

Ditto o_o
a pink blob with two dots for eyes and is shaded blue when shiny.
It even looks like a stepped on bubblegum for some reason... =_="

That was my 1st choice. Also Grimer, Muk, Voltorb, Electrode, and Pineco. The last one just looks like a green pinecone with eyes.

Dugtrio, Magneton, Grimer, Muk, Poliwrath, Voltorb, Electrode, Slowbro, Ditto, Klinklang, and the palette swaps (Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Kangaskhan, Rhydon, Latios, Latias, Volbeat Illumise, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landrus).

Terrakion. Is it supposed to be a bull or a pit bull?
Snivy. It looks too much like Cyndaquil in head shape.
Any Dragon or Dragon-like Pokemon with tiny legs, such as Charizard.
Unown. Don't even need to explain.
Registeel. It's legs look like toilets.
Defense Forme Deoxys. Ugh...
Blissey.
Regigigas. The gems on it look more like eyes than it's actual eyes.
Phione.
Nidorino. He's an upscaled Nidoran.
Klang. It's aesthetically a transition from Klink to Klinklang.
Zapdos. Those eyes are just creepy.
Shiny Garchomp. You can't tell the difference.
Porygon2.
Trapinch. I bet there's someone in the world that calls Scizor 'Edward Trapinchands'.

IMO, simple =/= lazy

But if I were to choose "lazy" designs, it would be: Vanilite's line, trubbish's line, voltorb's line, Diglett's line, and I just hate Bidoof

I understand that a lot of people dislike Yabukuron, but I don't think it was lazy designed.
It have a lot of details and its evolution isn't just a bigger version of it.

Almost all Gen 1.
Tentacool - Tentacruel
Voltorb - Electrode
Magnemite - Magneton
Mankey - Primeape
Grimer - Muk
Horsea - Seadra - Kingdra
Staryu - Starmie

The laziest is the one they spent literally zero time designing: Missingno. Infact it may even go into negative time, at which point the laziness approaches infinity!

...Okay seriously though, Starly and Diglett. Possibly Ditto as well. Pidove is low on the list too, but it is ultimately more interesting than Starly. And to be fair, I think Pidgey actually looks pretty nice compared to the other 3-stage first form birds.

but a bag of trash? It's no Voltorb, but I say it is a lazy design, no matter how many details it has.

Come on. How can you people forget Luvdisc. That's the true lazy design. It's like the creators where just rushing to create one last Pokémon to round up the generation or something.
