Spin-Off Which Pokémon will you choose in Super Mystery Dungeon?

Basically a thread for anyone who's decided which Pokémon they want to start with in PSMD. For me I think I'm gonna go with Chespin and Froakie.
 
Snivy and Turtwig, since those two are my favorite starters. I might pick Charmander instead of Turtwig though, to see if Mega Evolution is available.
 
Easily Cyndaquil, for Nostalgic reasons. And Chikorita can tag along, for OTHER Nostalgic reasons.
 
Whichever one the personality test gives me, unless it's crappy, under which case I'll take another one.
 
Torchic, because I want the ability to mega evolve. That would make my character seem mysterious and powerful. Backing me up will be Chespin, because I'll need someone with hands. You can't hold much with little chicken wings.
 
I'll just take the personality test, and see what I get.
 
I'm thinking Squirtle & Tepig. Something about the combination just rings right with me.

I might decided differently by the time of the game though, because I do want to take that personality test and see what I get.
 
I'm probably gonna go with Riolu and Charmander. Their final evolutions work together fairly well and if both of us can Mega Evolve at the same time I'll feel really sorry for the poor fool on the receiving end of that.

The video footage of the quiz highly suggests that the two partners can't be the same type, sadly. So you'll have to go with Snivy and Charmander. And yes, the box art shows Mega Evolution exists in the game.

I'll be choosing Piplup and Fennekin. And praying with all my might that one of them has a surprise Mega coded into the game that will make its debut in SPMD, then be properly introduced in the next game. ;) To round out my elemental team, I'll also recruit a Shinx, a Hoppip and if it's true that the team limit has been expanded to 5 (or 6), then a Misdreavus and a Goomy are both a must.

Fennekin will be my Pokemon (wish the other foxes could be choosable), haven't decided between Oshawott or Riolu

Well, Fennekin is a fox, which is a canine. You could pick Riolu, which is a jackal cub (another canine).
 
My Pokemon will be whatever the personality quiz gives me, and my partner will be a Pokemon from the same generation, likely one with a weakness to the type of mine.
 
I'm partial to having a Riolu on team, partly because that was my main in Explorers.
 
If I am able to get my hands on a copy I'd go for a Cyndaquil as PC and Treecko, Turtwig or Squirtle as partner.
 
I can't decide if I want to go the nostalgia route and choose between charmander, totodile, or oshawott, or if I should chance it on another starter whom I haven't played with before. I'd like to be able to mega-evolve so it kind of biases me away from those without one (wouldn't it be amazing if they debuted other starter Mega's through this game?!).

I'm just gunna try the quiz and if I get one of the ones I mentioned I'll stick to that but if not then I /may/ just pick a starter manually.
 
Probably be Treecko and Mudkip like in the other Mystery Dungeons.
 
I'll take what the personality test gives me, if I like it. Otherwise... I'll decide when I get there.
