Which professor do you want to battle?

In another thread, we discussed if we want to battle the professors.

Now, it's a matter of WHO?


I've added a scientist as well since they might count. While Akuroma IS a prof/scientist, he's not in the list as he IS battle-able.

Id like to battle Professor Oak, he was the first one and is an important one for the whole series, since he's appeared in pretty much every generation except Gen V, Id like to battle him. I also wouldn't mind a battle with Professor Juniper, I think that would be interesting.

I voted and then was like 'WOAAAHH everyone has voted for Oak!' before realising that I'm the only one who's voted so far...

For me, because Oak has appeared in more than one Gen and arguably would know more about Pokemon than any other Professor I think it would be awesome to see which 6 Pokemon he would take into battle.

Definitely Professor Oak. You can't be the world leading authority on Pokemon research without knowing a little bit about battles. If the removed battle against him in the original games is anything to go by, he will certainly make a very tough opponent.

Definitely Professor Oak. He's the only one I know of among the listed group that did Pokemon battles before becoming a researcher and for that alone I wouldn't mind a pokemon battle with him.

I would want to battle Oak simply because we were supposed to battle him. I think it could have been a very interesting mechanic, and I want to see how it would have turned out.

And here I am, the first vote for Araragi. Why did I vote her, you ask? There's nothing much to say, except that she's a female professor. It's a figure that I admire a lot, so it's only natural for me wanting to see her strength and determination in battle. Because I'm sure she has those. She seems the type to.

Let's be honest, all the professors are insignificant - apart from Oak. So of course, it has to be Oak

I'd probably say I'd prefer to battle Oak simply because he is THE Pokemon Professor and the one who is most renown throughout the Pokemon world. I think he'd be interesting to fight. I'd also like to fight Juniper because she seems cool. The others I was never that impressed with, especially Professor Elm. He seemed a bit... doddery.

Rowan, because he's bad-ass. He'd probably be a great battler.

The others are pretty lame, or something other than bad-ass. Like, Oak's more of an intellectual, Elm is a joke, Birch is more of a joke, and Juniper is pretty flighty.

Hmm... Toughie... I think Oak would be fun as you can 'hack' battle him, Elm would probably be too easy, Birch would be a respectable battler, Rowan is just a tad too old, Juniper would be OK and Fennel would be too easy.

But I'd like to battle Rowan.

Oak has always played quite a role in the series/Pokemon world. I feel like he would be one of the most knowledgeable professors and would love to battle him and see the extent of his knowledge.

Oak. After all, his battle data got dummied out during RBY beta and he's Gary/Blue Oak's grandpa.

Bonus points if I can do a double battle with both Blue and Prof. Oak, on a full 12-on-12 battle!

but now I just wanna have a double battle against Fennel and Juniper
