Which starter will be given special treatment this time?

In gen4 Torchic was given special treatment over all other starters, you can walk whit it in the Amenity Square (as the only starter Pokemon of any region in DP) and you can catch it in the 'Walker as the only starter Pokemon.

So which starter do you think/want to be given special treatment this time around?

I want the epic Turtwig to be catchable since it's EPIC!

I don't believe there will be special treatment for any starter. And if they pull something like Amity Square again, then I wouldn't really consider that "special".

Pikachu, as it's been given special treatment in pretty much all of the games. I can't really predict much else.

Piplup's is Dawn's canon Pokemon.
Chikorita's Lyra's canon Pokemon..Presumably it was hers in Crystal too.

The first three are defiantly the protagonists of their generation in most peoples eyes, and apparently GF's. Lyra and Ethan can go either way honestly..

lol, I made a wrong interpretation when I read the title xD I thought you meant which pokémon would get improved qua moveset etc.

Thus I voted for Treecko, as the poor Sceptile really begs for some more special moves.

I was thinking more of the fact that you can catch as many Torchics as you want in the Pokewalker, I just included the Square since it's in gen4 as well.

The Pokewalker thing is actually a very big deal.

Regardless, you need to be more specific about 'special treatment.' Walking around Amity Square doesn't quite cut it for me. I don't think any particular starter will receive 'special treatment.'

I say Bulbasaur. Why? Two reasons.

1) Generation V will bring us to National Dex Pokemon #500. It would be more than fair to praise #1 for making the Pokedex take off...

As you can see, he has gone from being the 'ugly' starter (Along with Totodile, Treecko, and Turtwig) to an actually quite cute Pokemon. Could this mean they're slowly changing him to make him more appealing as a 'special' Pokemon?

But then again, as much as I hate Pikachu, it'll probably be him this time once more.
