Well in the game she cries, then later gives you a badge. An the Anime, not only does she not cry, she gave Ash a badge after beating her Miltank with three of his pokemon, in a non Gym battle. She didn't even want to use her other two Pokemon that she had.

Well with Clair, in the anime she was happy to give Ash his Rising badge, however in the games she was a stubborn little b***h.

Also with Jasmine, I heard she was more sensitive in the game (haven't played it in ages)

Jasmine was ruined by the anime. In the games she's a nice, shy girl. In the anime they just made her have "generic filler girl" personality and took away all the potential uniqueness the character had from the games. I remember that pissed me off when those eps aired for the first time.

But considering that was in Johto, I shouldn't be too surprised by the writers ruining characters personalities. Its what they did best that region.

Basically a lot of the special video game characters anime incarnations are different from their original selves. Because you know anime canon is not the same as the video game canon.

I mean...Misty...and Brock... Yeah Brock's somewhat of an ass in the game...

... Is that not a good thing? About Whitney, I mean? o_o You'd prefer a crybaby to someone who is tough to beat?

But yeah, there will always be differences between the two mediums.
