TCG Who are the most reliable vendors to buy single Pokémon cards from?

Due to the scarcity and costs of Pokémon TCG packs, plus the chance of not even getting the cards I'm chasing when I buy packs, I am strongly considering just purchasing the singles that I really want. But I need some advice on how to obtain singles at a reasonable price, and without supporting the scalpers who are making Pokémon cards inaccessible in the first place.

My parents recently gave me credit to use on Amazon, so my first thought was to use that credit to purchase the desired single cards. However, I've heard rumors that single cards sold on Amazon are often counterfeit; is this true? Even if it is, are there any reliable vendors who sell genuine single cards on Amazon?

If Amazon is not a viable option, then what are the best online stores for an American Pokémon fan to buy genuine single cards from? And if those online stores have multiple sellers, then which of their vendors are the most reliable? I don't drive, so I can't just purchase singles from a local card store.

Any information and advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Ngl I don't know if this is helpful, but I've gotten into the habit of buying packs of Japanese cards on Amazon. They usually come in packs of 5 and were realatively cheap a few months ago (like $15 for 4 packs?) These aren't singular cards per se but they are far more afforable then buying packs of English cards imho.

You could also try Meccha Japan. I haven't bought anything there recently, but they do sell singluar Japanese cards. The one I bought last year seemed legit, although if I'm gonna be real: I don't really mind counterfit merch. They ship from Japan so fair warning that it will probably be taxed a bit.

Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately I cannot afford to ship from Japan at this time.
