Who do you think will conquer Sinnoh league?

I think some trainer that is going to made up at the last minute will win the league if the pattern continues.
 
I think the writers forgot Nando is after badges hopefully he is just so old for that it's creepy I can imagine winnning the grand festival though
 
^Actually, I did as well, forgot Nando wanted to do both contests and gym battles, but the writers practically forgot Nando anyway.

Jun looks as if he could win the league. I'd like Pauls attitude make him lose the league, give him a reason to learn to change as he has not won an league yet as far as I remeber them saying in a previous D/P episode
 
I forgot that Nando was also going for badges, but I couldn't care less if he's at the league. He'll be at the GF, let's just leave him there.

We don't need to see two rivals with Roserade in the Sinnoh league, for god sakes. We have Jun, that's good enough.

I am still hoping it comes down to Ash/Paul in the finals, but the writers could still do something that surprises us. I don't know what to expect but I hope I am not let down.

Anyway, Im hoping for Ash/Paul showdown, but its probably going to be some random character for the league.
 
Unless this is the last series, then some character of the day. It's realistic enough, anyway. It's far too "neat" when someone the main character knows always wins, if he doesn't.
 
I think this time there won't be any other unknown trainer like John Dixon, Tyson or somebody else

As much as I don't doubt that happening, I still think it's a rather jerk move to pull an unknown into the ring at the last second to take the victory.

There's such a large pool of potential known contenders this time around that the odds are much greater one of them will make it to the top. I'd love to see them include Jun and Nando in the competition and we know Paul is a guarantee. Conway I'm not so sure, but it could still happen and to a lesser extent any of the notable characters from the previous arcs.

We all know an Ash-Paul showdown is very likely to happen. Ideally, their battle would be for the tournament win, and I could see no better an opportunity to showcase which training style is superior since that's been vetted so hard into the series and is pretty much driving to this point. I'd think their battle at any other point in the league would be anti-climatic so a stake on the league champion and underlying ego tension would make for the best logical route for this final battle.
 
heck, who knows! maybe they will surprise us and let Ash win by like some freak accident, like Jun becomes Champion and Ash as first runner up, and then like a magically flying Snorlax will fall out of the sky crushing him? who knows...
 
If Ash seriously doesn't win this time, I'm taking a break from the series. The writers are really setting him up to finally do it, and after 11 years, I think we deserve to finally see it happen.
