Who here is getting Pokemon Platinum?

Who here is gonna get platinum?

I know I'm getting it. but I'm still debating if I should start iv breeding and ev training my pokemon for it. cause I might get into competitive battling. would it be worth it?
 
Im getting it and im gonna catch pokemon as I go along with it.

Im also excited about the new Battle Frontier!
 
I already pre-ordered mine, so I'll be getting it. I was thinking of doing things a little different this time around. I am going to not just catch a pokemon just because I need it to fill my dex, but catch it for right natures, right from the start, so I'll have a good balanced team as I know now what moves pokemon learn and all about things in game.

Definitely.(...did I spell that right?) I've done nothing else for the last 4 months, but note that since they'll be traded they'll grow fast and may not obey you in early points of the game. And only trade in 4 pokemon at first, since you'll need a spot for HM users (e.g. machop)
 
I have my copy pre-ordered and I'm impatiently waiting for March 22nd. I can't wait!!! I already have my team set for the Battle Frontier!
 
i am getting mine and i am gonna bring in two Pokemon, and raise the rest! (for those who are curious, Leafeon & Glaceon)

ahh yes I forgot about the extra xp from traded pokemon.
I will probably iv and ev train later in the game then. is iv training really worth it though?
 
I guess I will... I'm not a massive fan of the Main Series, but what kind of fan would I be if I didn't help Platinum become the #1 selling game of the year?
 
I have a team of about 30 good-nature/IVs, EV-trained babies. I was just going to use them in a new game in Pearl, but since Platinum is coming out soon, I'll just trade them there over when I get it.

The places by you are out already, or you can't find a place that's doing it? I think pokemonplatinum.com lists all the places where you can get it, but when I was at Toys R Us getting Shaymin, they said there was no pre-order gift. However, when I went to Gamestop, I had no problem.

So yes, I am getting this game. I'll also be going to Nintendo World on the release date, should they hold an event, and I suspect they will. Anyone else here planning on going if they do? I just hope that you don't have to buy the game THERE in order to participate.

I don't know if I'm going to make Platinum my main game, or keep it as Diamond. I loathe the thought of trading all of my Pokemon over... but I probably will eventually. What are you guys gonna do?

I'm gonna trade them all over eventually from diamond to platinum.
I ended up pre-ordering my copy online from eb games and they still say they have the figures so I should get it when the game comes in.

and can anyone tell me if it is worth iv breeding my pokemon eventually?
