I don't know if my suspicions are founded or not, but does anyone else suspect that Pokemon Colloseum's/XD's "Eagun The Mythical Trainer' is just a cameo Ash (Or Red??) These are the reasons:

  • He started his pokemon journey with a pikachu.
  • He has a major focus on pikachu's evo. line for battles.
  • The term "Mythical Trainer" may refer to the G/S/C versions when RED was the most powerful trainer in the game.

While I know this is far less likely, I also believe his wife, Beluh, could be May as there is a picture of a Torchic in their house (For those who have been living under a rock, May started with a Torchic.)

I have heard that theory before with more links such as his having seen Ho-oh before... except with the fact that their granddaughter has a resemblance to Misty. ^^

I guess you could be right

But my thing is that would mean pokemon Colloseeum and XD are more in the future and the time lines would be messed up. I mean im not trying to make a fight about it but dont you think that there are other trainers out there that are just as good or better than red because this is not the first time i heard this thoguth. Now if the comic some how throws XD and Colloseeum in there and explain (that would be helpful)

How would that mess up the time lines? There is nothing to say that the Orre games can't be decades after the anime, even without taking into account the fact that these are different canons.

Red is the ultimate trainer in G/S/C, so it would make sense for him to be the best in the video game canon.

I guess the question would be where dose XD and Coll stand in the gaming world because red would not be that old if we are following the time line right but hey i really dont know :scared:

and i do understand that red is the ultimate trainer in C/S/g he mopped the floor with my boys back than the first couple of times ..... but i mean god would he be that old (and i do know that red and ash are two different characters)

Why can't the Gamecube RPGs be set decades after the GBC RPGs? How would that mess up the timeline?

Either way, it was probably just a nod towards the anime and nothing important to the plot, like the Mt. Battle Trainer who has heard of someone else with her Pokémon - a Cacnea and a Chimecho.

thats true why cant it been years after, i just wish they would explain what time it was thats all but i guess it could be in the future some were

Genius Sonority probably just wanted to be cautious about going into Game Freak's canon, which would also explain why Orre is so far from Kanto/Johto/Hoenn.
