Who is the most powerful Elite Four trainer in Sinnoh?

As we all know from games :

1. Aaron
2. Bertha
3. Flint
4. Lucian

But in the anime series we saw:

1. Lucian challenged Cynthia and Aaron after him.

2. in the DP 040 Lucian told about Elite four in following order:
Me (Lucian), Aaron, Bertha , Flint.

So guys what do you think who is the most powerful of them in anime (not in the games)?
 
i think its one of the two they havent shown yet in the anime
so i think Flint
 
I say Lucian, I had a lot of trouble battling his Bronzong.

And yeah, Aaron got killed. Bugs were never tough to begin with, but losing to TR?
 
What? Aaron lost? To TEAM ROCKET? I meaan sure, I can sweep him with a level 62 Dark-type, but I thought he was better than that. And yeah, that Bronzong is beast.
 
Guys don't underestimate Aaron. He is a superb trainer. I don't know why authors showed his pokemons in that way in anime.

I can say only one thing.. For now Ash is not ready to win over his Drapion and Vespiqueen

He will definitely loose

I dunno, I was wary of Lucian when I battled him, but I only got into trouble with Flint. So it could be a tie between Flint and Lucian for me.
 
I'm gonna give this to Flint(Pt)/Lucient... (never really liked his pokemon selection for D/P)
 
I can tell it isn't Aaron...the only two pokemon of his that are good are probably vespiquen and Drapion.

Yeah, I had troube 3 or 4 times battling it from the first time. Somehow I earthquaked it and it said it did not affect bronzong even though it worked a few times before and after that. And he is one of the few people that have a bronzong, is he the only one seen with one in Anime so far?
 
not for me, I pretty much beat his bronzong quick with Infernape... altho he did pwn my Lucario (don't know why I put it out)
 
As far as the anime goes, Lucian's definitely the most powerful thus far. Not only has he got that prestigious attitude, but he was seen on TV battling Cynthia as well. So we know he's pretty active in his role. Flint... will probably be up there too; depends on how the anime handles him. I sort of have a feeling they'll just buddy him up with Volkner and keep it at that, and I wonder if and how they would portray Bertha. Preferably something with Agatha (especially since the latter's appeared in the anime already), but with age comes great experience, so it wouldn't surprise me to see her being shown as a powerhouse despite her appearance.

Granted, game-wise, I was severely underleveled the first time I fought the E4. Like, mid-40s in terms of levels on average. I still managed to plow through every single Elite Four member and ended up losing to Cynthia's final Pokemon (happened to be Roserade... my last one standing was a Rapidash. Isn't that a little humiliating?). I don't recall having much of a problem with the E4 guys except maybe Lucian, and Flint was a prick with his tricky Pokemon in D/P that weren't all Fire-types. Reeeeally didn't like having SURPRISE BUTTSEKS ThunderPunch that killed my poor Gyarados. I think it was him or Cynthia who surprised me with that one. Maybe both.

Anyway, yeah. Sounds like they kinda nerfed Aaron in the anime, which is pretty sad, actually. Having a Bug-type E4 member was a nice change, y'know. But Psychics and Fires are usually the types really played up in terms of power in the anime, so it's safe to say Lucian for now, and maybe Flint in the future, depending on how he's handled. It'll be hard to judge Flint fairly if they just keep him with Volkner all the time, though.
 
I wouldn't say Aaron is weak in the anime. If I'm not mistaken when Aaron battled Cynthia, it was down to their final Pokemon (or it appeared that way), of course this is the anime, where most things come down to the final Pokemon but still, it was pretty impressive that Aaron somehow beat Cynthia's Garchomp.

I doubt it. I don't think we won't see any trainer who can do it. Except Ash.

There would be basically no reason for Cynthia to recall Garchomp, unless it had been defeated.

The matches were Garchomp vs Drapion.

Then the next time they battle:

Gastrodon vs Beautifly.

I don't know about you but that seems pretty likely Aaron did beat Garchomp. And it's not like that mattered Aaron still lost, so Garchomp isn't the only reason Cynthia is good. So let's not give high praise to Garchomp but disregard Cynthia's other Pokemon as suitable battlers.
 
I think Ryo was presented the way he was in the anime was to show off his youth. Comparably, Ryo is exceptionally young to be a Shittenou trainer, which probably proves his exceptional talent.
In regards to the other Shittenou, I believe Ryo has the most potential. Shirona and Goyou have been presented already, of course, but their power has been showcased more than anything. Shirona's "battle" (sweep) against Shinji, her role in the Ginga arc before the most recent one... And Goyou's introduction of the E4 challenge, as well.
These introductions to the shittenou kind of place them above normal. Of course. But this disconnect isn't as clear with Ryo, who was presented as both an extremely human character with certain human flaws, but also as an astounding talent.
If only psychological aspects could be explored more... Because if that were the case, I think Satoshi would have the biggest issue against Ryo, second only to Shirona because of Ryo's personality.
 
I'll just say its in the same order as the games.

Cynthia is the champion, then Lucian, then Flint, etc.

Granted we haven't seen Flint or Bertha in the anime yet, but I doubt they'll be shown as stronger than Lucian.
