Who is your favorite character in Legends-ZA?

For me, I think Jacinthe is my favorite character! Followed by Corbeau! :chansey:
 
I still haven’t finished the game yet (currently have no progress after getting to Rank B) so maybe Lida, Ivor, Corbeau or Mable could do something to change my mind but for now I’m going with Naveen. Great contrast to the other, more outgoing members of Team MZ, neat backstory that is brought frequently but doesn’t take up too much of his screentime, and his Canari fandom gave us some great lines (especially the truthnuke regarding Mani’s behavior in the quiz contest driving away other potential Canatics)

i love how she's basically the most unserious member of the cast. even in serious moments such as the end of the game, her unseriousness isn't... inappropriate? it's odd, because she's almost like comic relief in a way, but unintentionally; she doesn't try to be funny, but her overall aloofness and personality and quips make her so. in another way of putting it, she's kind of the shitposter of the rest of the cast because being a high class socalite puts her so out of touch with the average lumiose resident that you kinda just have to laugh tbh.
 
My favorite is Corbeau, which actually surprised me. At first I was not expecting to like him as much as I did.
 
Jacinthe my beloved,,,, everything about her is so funny. her self-centerness, her tenacity. Like sure, you're the protagonist and all but the world revolves around her and she lets you know that every single time you meet her.

Also Clefable has always been one of my faves so I love her design sm, not to mention her battle theme is just * chefs kiss *she's such a stand out character in a game full of stand out characters imho.
 
I just got Legends: Z-A for Christmas and I'm only at Rank E, so my opinion is subject to change upon progression of the story. Right now, my favorite character is Ivor. He has a good design, he has a caring heart, and he is funny. Also, Ivor makes a valid point about coexisting with wildlife: we can't just restrict wildlife into designated "Wild Zones" and call that "coexistence" (his philosophy in the context of IRL wildlife management is IMHO worthy of an entire essay that I'll probably write at some point).

UPDATE: I recently completed the main story of Legends: Z-A, and Ivor remains my favorite character.

Honestly, for some Pokémon I can see Ivor's point, like Fletchling, Pidgey, Scatterbug, and Weedle. For something like, a freaking Salamence, on the other hand? NO, THANK YOU! Leave that thing confined.

I acknowledge that fictional Pokémon are much more dangerous than real animals, and thus it is easy to dismiss them as not being analogous. But as a conservationist, I can't just dismiss the Salamence example as fiction, because "Wild Zones" that restrict the distributions of wolves actually exist (these real analogs are not fenced off like the in-game versions, but any wolf who disperses outside of them is captured and relocated). As tempted as I am to write an entire essay about this topic here, I won't because it would be disrespectful of me to take over OP's post like that (I only brought up wildlife coexistence to point out a major reason why Ivor is my favorite Legends: Z-A character).

probably grisham, i loved team flare as a kid and i first played xy during a hard time in my life. the combination of that really made him and team flare nouveau in general hit me. the whole theme of moving on from your past... also, he's a chef! he was made for me!!
 
It’s bounced between Naveen, Tarragon, and Gwynn for me. They’re all great for different reasons, and it’s hard to pick just one lol
 
I'm like that one person who's gonna say Urbain. I loved him from the moment he first made that sassy comeback while helping to get your bag back. I'm a sucker for good-hearted, genuinely good people and Urbain is someone I would probably absolutely adore in real life (extends to Taunie too). He does some dumb things and can get a little much at times but to me that's part of his charm.

That said I love all of the characters, especially Team MZ. Lida and Naveen are both lovable. Jacinthe and Lebanne are amazing. Corbeau is up there as a favorite outside of Team MZ. There's really no character in this game that I don't at least like. It's one of the game's strongest points for me.

Pokemon NEEDS to make more condescending and selfcentered characters like her in the future because, like? All her dialogue is absolute GOLD?? I will PAY yall for more of this

also, clefable and aurorus are some of my personal faves, so im kinda biased there LOL
