I'm not a huge fan of the show anymore, but I still get a kick out of Zim himself. I'm not sure if it's his gross incompetance or his gross pride that's funnier, but whether he's being viciously maimed due to a fatal mistake, or triumphantly anouncing his identity before said inevitable screw-up, he's bound to make me chuckle at some point.

Gir's alright I suppose, but there are much better non-sequitur spouting characters in animation. His novelty has long worn off imo.
