Who will the writers ship Ash with next?

As the thread title suggests, it's all about with whom you think the writers *might* drop romantic hints---one-sided or otherwise---regarding our young trainer from Pallet Town, Ash Ketchum. So there you go. About the last few options, though:

"Some as-yet-unintroduced charcter" includes possible future random CotDs, recurring characters, and the like.

By the way, the "What for?" option covers *all* the pre-D/P girls, and *only* them(which assumes, of course, that any of them make even a cameo reappearance). Every last one from Misty to Whitney to May to Anabel, so all their fans finally have something to agree on.

"Two or more" means exactly that, up to and including all of the previous eight options. This is for the 'harem' crowd, or those who have no qualms about conflicting ships.

I would think that the last one would be obvious.
 
They could do another Anabel and have another Gym leader crush on him, but eh, I think its too soon for another one of those storylines. Battle Frontier was only a little over a year ago.
 
Or how about do the opposite and have Ash and Brock to be crushing on Candice only for Croagunk and Pikachu to stop that.

Ash and Brock have a contest to impress the Gym Leader meanwhile Dawn is slightly ticked of what Ash is doing.

They see after the Gym Battle to see Candice with her boyfriend crushing their hearts

how about that? Then again Ash doesnt like girls
 
Well, yeah, that last point is the big flaw in the idea.

Some other girl will probably crush on Ash at some point. The major ship is more likely to involve Dawn.
 
Hmm...Maylene perhaps? I can see her admiring Ash...especially as in the games she seemed kinda shy and unsure of herself.
 
If they ever have another female role in the anime, I would hope that she would be based off blue's(girl) character from the manga. I would like to see Ash ship with her.

Chances are the next female main role will be the female playable character in the games, which looks as if it'll be the girl from crystal if they remake G/S/C.
 
I think it would be cool if in one episode Ash crushes on a girl because I've never seen that happen before. Only in Episode 9 if that counts. Even though Ash is dense about love I think it would be cool if in one episode Ash finally knows what love feels like.

that would be interesting....yet we can't call her blue lol

hell the writers could make her a old friend of ash before he became a trainer lol

Red - Ash
Blue - Gary
Leaf - (Girl)
Yellow - Ash (But more best on anime)

Not really, as the girl from Leaf Green never got join the group, why would Marina?

Well it would either be Marina, or the next female character from the next generation on the Nintendo WTFisnext, I think Dawn diserves more than 2-3 seasons anyway, but anyway, i doubt it would be blue from the Manga, but it is a nice idea.

I really want Ash to have a crush on a girl even if she's a COTD and better to compete with Brock, something funny to imagine
 
I think it would be better if they just have Anabel return and try to finish that saga some how. Maybe have her travel with him for a series, or here's a suggestion LOL LOL have Paul/Shinji fall for himXD
Or Zoey, now that would be uniqe.

I agree. Anabel returning is a really good idea, mainly 'cause her crush on Ash was only shown for, like, one episode. And I WANT MORE CANON ABILITYSHIPPING!

Ahem.

Anyway...

Also a good idea is Anabel traveling with Ash, particularly if Dawn comes along, too. Then Pikachu, Buneary and Espeon can have a love triangle (XD).

THAT would be fun to see, IMO.
