My brother and I have often argued about this in the past. I'm wondering what everyone else thinks. No flaming, please.

Ah, they're both good. I don't really know what the difference is. I suppose Wallace because he seems so much calmer then the other male trainers that are into performances.
 
Wheres the Steven option? Wallace was pretty cool at his tourney though.
 
I prefer Wallace, myself.

There's just something more entertaining about him that Juan lacks. I really love him in the manga. :D
 
Wallace hasn't appeared in the anime here yet, but i like Juan better i think, Juan seems to have an interesting personality.
 
Wallace appeared in the Wallace cup arc in DP.

I picked Juan, since he seems like the cool and calm teacher. Sure, he's french, but he just has that air that simply makes you want to listen to his lectures... It's kinda hard to explain, but it somewhat like that.

All Wallace has is the cape. Girls dig the cape. (That, and the cape makes him a Champion for no reason whatsoever.)

That was in Battle Dimension, which hasn't aired here in Australia yet, and probably won't for another few months at least. :banghead:
 
Juan

Juan all the way! Wallace is waaaaay too full of himself, and seems a little dodgy, but that's just personal opinion.
 
Wallace. He is way better for the job as sootopolis gymleader. He has the looks and the style to be the 8th gym leader, but for the champion I like Steven better. Wallace should be the 8th gym leader, Steven the Champion, and Juan should go to a motel with his fangirls. That's another think I don't get, why does Juan have so many female fans, while Wallace looks more handsome to me (but I'm a guy, I wouldn't know)

Although Juan has a cooler coat I think the water type needs a gym leader with a certain amount of cockiness. Also..

Definitely Wallace. In pokemon training, he's in a whole new level (given up champion spot) and looks a lot cooler.
