Welcome to the first installment of Whos that Pokemon.

This game is based off the War of the Elements game style. That is, you get assigned a pokemon, and 4 moves from that Pokemon. Each phase you choose 3 moves (4 every 3 turns) to use on other players. You get told if they were super effective, normal effective, not very effective, or if they fail (does not effect), and you are also told what moves are used on you by other players.

In War of the Elements, your goal is to guess what types the other players are… but in this game, you’re trying to figure out what Pokemon the other players are.

Couple of notes: (These notes are compiled before the Pokemon have been chosen)

*Pokemon will only be fully evolved Pokemon. (Meaning Lugia might be in the game, Raichu might be in the game, Girafarig might be in the game, but Charmander will not be in the game)

*All forms are possible. (Meaning Alolan Dugtrio might be in the game)

*Types can be doubled up. You might encounter 2 or more fire Pokemon, for example.

*All Pokemon are dual-type. Meaning Alolan Raichu is possible, normal Raichu is not.

*Megas are not in the game, Z-Moves are not in the game, and moves that can be different types are not in the game. (No Hidden Power, for example)

*Abilities are not in the game. (Meaning that ground would be super effective against gengar, instead of failing)
*Breeding, Move tutor, TM/HM AND Level Up moves are valid. (Do not confuse forms though)

**Learning from a previous form is NOT valid if that form doesn’t learn it.

*Effectiveness is valid for Generation 7.

This game is outside contact permitted (remember to include myself and the MoD (@Lone_Garurumon) in all conversations), standard rules are in effect. If you are not sure, ask.

Turns will last 48 hours or until I have all moves.

First four players that submit a correct list, win.
You do not have to submit a guess list every turn. When you do submit a guess list, you will be told how many you have wrong, but nothing else.
When you win, you must cease all OC, as the game is over for you.

I'm not familiar with this game, but I might as well give it a whirl. There's no shame in trying, and I'll learn while playing, I suppose.

How many guesses do you get to make at a time?
Hey there, welcome to Bulbagarden forums and The War Room. I hope you'll enjoy yourself around here, it's always nice to see new faces here.
Feel free to ask me any questions you have regarding the forums or the Fun & Games / The War Room section;)

You submit all of your guesses at once, but you can do that as many times as you wish.
I suppose once per phase?

I suppose once per phase?

If you want to submit multiple guess lists per phase, I won't complain... But realistically, You probably won't be doing that since you only get information once a phase anyway.

For the sake of my MoD though, Probably best not to spam 200 guess lists a phase :p

Still looking for signups for this game.

If it doesn't fill by the end of the week, I'll ask @Lone_Garurumon to return it to the queue and lock it in place for a month or so.
