Who's That Pokémon? -- Special edition

This scene is from the first chapter of the Yellow arc. Professor Oak is complaining about Red not bothering with the Pokédex because he wants it completed before all the Johto Pokémon turn up:

Now, the silhouette on the right is clearly a Donphan. But what is the thing on the left? It doesn't appear match anything that I can see.

And hey, Oak wised up and decided to look just a bit to the East and realize their was a whole friggen region there.

I'm a gonna guess that the one on the right behind a rock is Donphan

The first one can't be Charmander by any chance, right?
The second can be anything...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that the left one is Kirinriki. It looks like it might be a long-necked quadraped, and it's the only one in Jouto off the top off my head with horns small enough to fall into the rest of the silhouette at a certain angle.

Maybe it's a Quagsire? Or a Ditto, stretched out of shape? Maybe someone left a bowling pin out and Ookido, who was over-excited about the prospect of 'new' Pokemon, took a picture of it? No. Idea.

Pretty sure the right is a Snubull. You can see where the ear seperates from the head on the right.

I always thought the left one was a Bayleef.
