Why did they dub Lucario's voice?

Lucario growls in the japanese version.
Lucario growls in the dub version.

Why did PUSA dub it if it's gonna sound almost the same? And yes, Lucario's jap voice is a little bit better (more epic!) than the dub voice

JP growl isn't more "epic" that Eng growl.

The only reason I can think of is that they wanted Lucario to sound closer to the Brawl Lucario.
