Why do I keep posting when I'm not around?

Seriously, this is the second time it's happened in about a month. Somehow, I'll pop up on the New Posts with a thread I posted to ages ago, only it says I posted at some random hour of the day. The last time it happened was over on the "PETA=Evil?" thread, about three times, about two weeks ago. I've attached a screencap I took about five minutes ago, with the error noted accordingly.

That makes sense. Both threads in question (PETA and May) were polls.

Is this inadvertently adding to my postcount, then? I'd hate to think I hit 3000 posts without really posting to some of them...
