Why do the side games lack representation in smash?

Have you ever noticed you never see a Pokemon Ranger or Dungeon based trophy? Or the fact there aren't any Colloseum or Rumble based stages or themes? Wonder why that is, they have Paper and Doctor Mario stuff after all.
 
Well, there aren't really enough stages to cover all of the side series games from every franchise represented in Smash, and Pokémon Ranger/Mystery Dungeon are considerably less well-known than Mario side games. It'd be nice to see more Pokémon Ranger/MD coverage though.
