Why does the site keep crashing?

MAYBE BECAUSE IT'S OUR SERVER AND WE CAN'T AFFORD THE MOST PERFECT TIP-TOP SHAPE ONE? >_>

EDIT: Sorry for yelling, but seriously. Look around the first two pages of this forum and tell me that you don't see anything about us trying to fix up the server..

Seriously though. I'm not gonna lie, there's nothing much from my perspective that we can do.
 
It has been crashing a lot, but that might be my computer... I blame Global Warming.
 
There appears to be a bug in the underlying software we use to run the site. At the moment, we have managed to reduce the frequency of crashes to once every 16-24 hours. Please be patient as we try to find a combination of settings which avoids the bug.
