Why has Leafeon still not been in an episode?

Why did Glaceon make its debut way back in DP76, and we're still waiting for Leafeon to be in an episode now 152+ episodes into DP?
 
Maybe they wanna showcase it during the league or the grand festival? Make it a bigger event than it already will be? It also doesn't help Shin'ou only has a few pokemon to work with and so many freaking episodes. The writers probably didn't wanna waste everything right off the bat. ._.
 
We've never seen such a big gap in Eevee forms.

In Kanto, we saw a debut Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon all in the same episode.

In Johto, we saw Gary's Umbreon and then Sakura's Espeon.

Now in Sinnoh, we saw Glaceon by the 76th episode but Leafeon is nowhere in sight.
 
Just because they've never done it before means nothing. They use to make sure Pikachu was the only electric type on the cast.
 
Well, I must admit I am too surprised Leafeon didn't appear in anime yet. But that make me think if writers really plan for its debut something epic, like it will be owned by one of Dawn's rival in GF or one of Ash's rival in League. It would be great if Leafeon will beat Dawn's Piplup in her last battle in GF. That would be great satisfaction for Eeveelutons after that stupid Piplup vs. Glaceon battle.
 
Jeez, talk about impatient. It's not like it's a Porygon form or something, it'll show up eventually.
 
If Gen V had started then this thread might have some credibility. Leafeon will definetly appear sometime in DP, seeing as this will likely be the longest "series" yet, they've just got to spread the first time appearances across the saga.
 
At this piont it's pretty obvious they're saving the rest of the pokemon for GF and Sinnoh League it's kind of to late to have a filler now.

We need more on Johto pokemon. *shot*
 
Why have Infernape, Togekiss, and the two Porygon evolutions not appeared? And Magnezone and Gallade, if you don't count the films (if you do, then it's just the two Porygon's that haven't).
 
They just haven't gotten around to it. I'm looking forward to it, considering I love Leafeon. Hopefully it won't be wasted on a useless character of the day, or worse, an extra.

after Eletric Soldier (porygon episode that gave hundreds of japanese kids seizures), the porygons arn't likley going to appear
 
leafeon made a cameo in a movie with all the related evolutions for a short time but I'm surprised they dont give leafeon in its own episode it should be fair.

I mean we should have seen leafeon atleast when they were still in etrna forest episodes or at somepoint after mays glaceon apparence surely hope the gang run into someone with a leafeon.

DP hasn't finished yet. Seriously there's still plenty of time for it to appear during the saga. Patience is needed.

I'm pretty sure they're saving it for Flint to make an appearance.

Well, even with the films, Togekiss hasn't actually made a debut appearance yet (the World of Pokemon intro does not count, as it was only a second long, just had it flying without any importance, and they didn't even name it.).

Or there's the possiblity of Ash's Monferno...

But yeah, the delayed appearences isn't that odd. Elekid didn't have an episode devoted to it until Here's Looking At You Elekid, which was close to the end of the Jotho saga. Despite it being debuted way back in that Pokémon 2000 short.

They're most likely saving the appearences by these Pokémon as Pokémon League or Grand Festival opponents, or they're saving it for extra filler materal. Who knows.
 
Given Cynthia is in the Galactic finale, makes me wonder if we'll see Togekiss there. Maybe not, but there's a chance.

Or I can see that evil Togepi returning and evolving twice later on.

Maybe if she has a Togekiss, then that might mean that Volkner will use his Platinum Team. Then again... Cynthia does have a Gastrodon, which makes her chances of owning a Togekiss extremely slim, if the chances even exist (Gastrodon was part of her Diamond and Pearl roster only. Likewise, her Togekiss is exclusive to Platinum).

Doesn't a Togepi need to evolve via unselfish joy into a Togetic, though? That Togepi has selfish joy (She's a sadist, for goodness sakes), so it would be highly unlikely for her to evolve.
