Why is the Audio so low in the Dub?

I've noticed the audio is very low in the dub compared to the Japanese Dub of the show. At the scene at which Sandile evolves into Krokorok you can barely hear the instrumental version of the Best Wishes! opening, I've also noticed subdued music at a lot of the scenes that made the scenes more fun. Like the Striaton Gym Battle, what's up with that?

i'm fine with the way the music is now
but a bit louder won't hurt
Kanto Was Kinda Loud
I Rember A Scene And the music was so loud i could hardly hear ash

Why can't they just leave it as is and have a balance like the Japanese version. The voices and sound effects completely overtake the music (especially the Japanese music). It's like they have a vendetta against it. It's been like this since season 11. DuArt sucks.

I guess they need to save budget costs but looking back they made crappy audio mistakes which were louder than the actual music playing in the background.

I think it's too bad it isn't louder, but it's better than some of those later Johto episodes (and it was even worse then because it was the really crappy dub music)

i actually prefer the low volume. why? well, for starters, I hate it when when the characters sound like like they're screaming their lines, the the music is being blasted. sure, it could add to the suspense of the moment, but still (and I'm not saying they do this all the time, but just listen to Iris in japanese). the japanese dub is awesome, and I like it the best, but I think the english dub has the right idea with toning down the volume

I think they could turn the music volume up a notch (or maybe the SFX volume down a bit? Sometimes the SFX are just too loud IMO, mostly in DP though)

I think it's too bad it isn't louder, but it's better than some of those later Johto episodes

Yeah, that's true... what was going on?

It's also possible CN performs some post-processing on the audio when they broadcast it, so it may not totally be up to the dubbers.
