Why so much hate on Misty?!

After reading the thread 'Obsession on Misty', it can clearly be seen that Misty is so hated. Its really strange because I have always viewed Misty as one of the most loved characters. So why is everyone hating on Misty.

Couple of haters hanging on one thread trying to spread false informations with their chldish bursts of hate are not representing real picture of Mistys status among fans.Misty is one of most popular characters in this show,and aside from anime section in shippin area,clubs,and outside this site all over the internet you can encounter large group of people who are mature and like her character.

Those who complain,failed to recognize her great character,good pokemon and unique ambitions going for her at same time praising other characters like theyre "superior" when in reality they arent.Alo they arent capable of respecting opinions from those who like Misty wanting to see her again whether for appearance or return to main cast(which would improve this show for many people) in advance expecting that people respect theirs.

Overrated?Not at all,its more people tend to give wayyy too much undeserved credit to May or Dawn compared to Misty.

Nope,its more that Misty fans try to defend her from bashing this poor character receives from haters who are incompetent to respect other opinions or single mention of this character.
And when they do defend her they are being blamed for not tolerating ridiculous amount of disinformations being said about character in question trying to find every opportunity to belittle her.
