Why Unaired?

4Kids is made up of several dubbing teams. I don't think the same group that dubs Yu-Gi-Oh! dubs Pokémon. Because if they do, the lack of dubbed AG120 makes no sense.
 
Well, the Yugioh episodes actually move the plot somewhat and had some new scenes....
 
I din't know this wasn't dubbed.. So another missing episode? I really don't see anything wrong with this episode. No earthquakes, Seizures, Guns,etc.
 
But there's no reason at all to air this episode - it is 100% recycled footage.
 
who cares? It was too much work as if you look at Dogasu's site that episode was pretty crap in terms of music and everything.
 
Actually, it did have some new footage right at the end.

And besides, who cares if it's a clip episode? 4Kids has dubbed them before with other series, and it's a nice way to recap the season since not everyone remembers every detail of every episode.
 
I agree with Dogasu, besides a season that long you need sometimes a few clipshows to remenber all the details. children specially need it, since their span is shorter.
 
Yeah, but that's where the simple plot comes in. What do people need to know entering the tournaments other than May has five ribbons and Ash has eight badges? That is shown when May and Ash are registered in the dub anyway.
 
I really like clip show's or clip eisodes. It recap's the season's and show what you might have mess if you did not watch that episode...
 
You know...considering how much it seems 4kids needs to remind us of stuff, I'm surprised they didn't.

I remeber the Yugioh episode wheir Yami "used" flashbacks (clipshow) to stop a bad guy.....-_-
 
Wait... if it was a clip show, it wouldn't be so hard to dub then, would it? I mean, given it's a CLIP show.
 
But this was basically tons of old footage, and had flashback IN flashbacks in Yugioh.

Some people may find the journey more interesting than the destination.

Besides that, it's only one episode. It wouldn't have hurt anyone to have it dubbed.
 
Clip shows annoy the crap out of me, though, and I'm sure others feel likewise.

Although the little kids wouldn't care, I realize.
